Every faction has something cool, I’d say Zerg has the Nydus, Terran has Nukes, and Protoss I’m not too sure but I think the mothership is pretty cool

I gave myself a shot at multi SC2 after 2 years of not playing game at all and after few games of practice I got low platinium with friend on 2v2 (he was a bit carrying me but still XD) idk how high is it, i suppose too high for my stage at the game (10 fkin matches XDDD) The reason I returded to the game is this channel. Thanks Lowko for rekindling my love for the game!

actually thats more the job of the terran if u just simply macro up untouched as zerg with out any harass at all u can get pretty high on the ladder wih just macro and a move so u are more supposed to macro as a zerg

I love how he says "very poor cheese" while being completely outplayed by said cheese. I think he meant to say "very cheap cheese"? But in any case, I struggle with cheese myself (with and against), so when I see someone executing it so perfectly I can't do anything but to bow down to them :p

I remember when scouting was everything as Protoss. Constant throwing hallucinations out on the map. Sending a stray albeit random Observer once in a while.

Since starcraft 1&2 came out, Zerg was and still is the most interesting race ever 😍 For the swarm!!

Agreed. Their weirdness is a big part of why I fell in love with them. My first experience with RTS was Warcraft 2, and I loved the game but the orcs and humans felt too similar to each other play-wise. The Terrans and Protoss were both a healthy dose different from each other, yet familiar in a lot of ways, but the Zerg were just so strange and radically different, I was an immediate fan.

Starcraft as a whole dominates because it's so different to C&C. Which is basically you have a tank, they have a tank, you have a plane they have a plane, Starcraft is a real rock paper scissors game where strategy really counts

Lowko, please, make a fresh tutorial on a "standard" build for zerg

When opponent mistypes GL HF or talks often after the first 30 seconds I always assume cheese

I would love to see a video like this where you show your hands and how insanely fast you use your hotkeys. Either that or some visual keyboard representation that lights up which lets you are pressing.

he said he's gonna wait a few weeks with the next playthrough, maybe somewhere in the beginning of january after the holidays is my guess

Btw, cannon if enemy goes for cannon rush, it usually builds cannon near natural hatch when they see it, not straight away. So scouting at that point is kinda less effective.

Nydus worms are soo much fun... I find a mass hydra with 2/2 upgrades, with 3 to 4 nydus worms can really control the movement of your opponents expansion if the cheese is going into a late game... an early 3-5 spine crawler wall off at the natural with 3-4 queens in the beginning can buy you the time to mass and upgrade... usually I send overlords from two opposite points of opponents base, wait and then send them in at the same time to scout for a double nydus build in his main or main and natural... rally both hives on nydus and start pumping... 4 gas usually the best but 3 is good... can send queens through to transfuse as well. If he holds out you could determine if you need either lurkers or Ultralisks or if the air is too strong maybe corrupters. Enjoy :) Saw something like this in a Nerchio game as well.

if you have the queens on a control group you can use the minimap and click on the hatcheries

It's not really that blind. There's only so much anyone can do before you turn up at there base.

I can see where andy is coming from... im usually on the recieving end of cheese myself.

if u r anywhere below diamond - work on your mechanics and you should come ahead even when cheesed simply because player at that level dont play at maximum efficiency. if u r diamond +, you need to scv scout and make units that counter ravagers: cyclon(+), siege tank(+++), banshee (+++++). also notice how low is lowko's drone count. if u survive with 12 scvs ur very far ahead.

mostly efficient build order and macro but also some micro and positioning. ofc it takes a lot of time to learn these things. what im saying is that if u are below diamond annd u focus on improving generally rather than winning a specific cheese, eventually you will win those cheese plays from lower league players without a special tactic.

So far ive been playing terran for 2 weeks, ive made it to gold 1 and am finding it difficult to get to plat (first time ive learned terran) ive had about 100 games so far

Does anyone know an updated website where I can see some build orders? Im a zerg main, ( thanks to Lowko over here ) and my friends started playing it now that its free, and aldo I can guide then, i don´t know the exact build order for other races :/

you mean the hotkeys for units/buildings? because if yes, that a grid layout, you can use the one available in-game that blizzard gave us or simply make your own all on the keyboard controls on the options. if not, then idk.
