Abathur you should try pouring lemon juice on every zerg unit btw, oh and i can probably walk into neares hatchery then pour some lemon juice on nearby zerg, assuming they dont turn me into biomass first, edit: assuming zergs allergy is the same as every other allergy

I really enjoyed watching this match! It's not as polished as a pro match, but both players outlined their strengths clearly.

Great game, great players who were kinda eachothers opposite. Spyder just exploded his economy whenever he could and gained a significant lead in both economy and army early on, but he put off upgrades and going up the tech tree for too long. Estra on the other hand was all about efficiency and upgrades, he got a ton of upgrades very early on, which left him with a very small army to work with. His opponent wasn't really able to capitalize on this (because he didnt scout it, or lacked the experience to go 'hey I can take this fight I should go attack'), so in the end, being ahead in tech and upgrades allowed him to be much more efficient than his opponent, nullifying the economy lead. Extremely good scouting by Estra too, he kept track of what his opponent had and then built what he needed to counter it, we see him add a ton more corruptors to match Spyders Mutalisks because he could see the mass mutalisk being added to the army.

the scouting was the reasion his estra's strat worked so well, without the scouting, he could not have predicted and countered his opponent, and when working with so few units, counters are essential, great game by both, and if either player somehow find this comment, nice job!

I first played Starcraft as a kid back in '98/'99 but haven't touched either SC I or II in many years, yet here I find myself newly subscribed to Lowko and am watching a *lot* of these cast games. That's how good of a job you're doing man.

You know whats better than that? *Lowko swarm host hit squad*

I like these kinds of games a lot more, you know that in a pro game if one player sees the other trip up it's gonna get capitalized on and if the trip up was bad enough the game is already over. But games like this? You never know what's going to happen.

Just started playing SC2 again and i really can't get enough of lowko's videos.

i love it, economic powerhouse vs. efficiency. one thing i noticed is that despite the more bases SPYDER had he didn't have the drone count to match. Estra tended to have roughly the same drone count as SPYDER, making his bases more efficient as well. of course losing your bases over and over helps keep you from mining at the same rate as one that doesn't, so he still was down in the amount mined.

Tenaka Kahn frostpunk is a new and refreshing game. maybe not really traditional RTS, but till now sc2 was the only real RTS. but frostpunk won't replace sc2...I mean it doesn't have multiplayer so it can't really be competitive.

Not a big fan of ZvZ, but this game was actually very fun to watch. It wasn't very technically polished, but you could see the players trying to exploit their strengths and counter each other very creatively.

The worst thing about locusts is that they autoattack. It's way harder to micro them properly than it should be.
