I'd like to listen to a real PiG-with-a-pro/caster's-worth-of-experience discussion of Florencio. dude plays in Masters, ya? As poor as his micro sometimes is, as questionable as his decision making can get (0 upgrades carriers?) , he's in *Masters*. So why isn't his nonsense … real? Why don't players with stronger fundamentals take his shenanigans and add a properly placed shield battery or a sensible army composition to WRECK the ladder? Why are pro cheeses so BORING compared to this? … I mean, I suspect the answer is just "pros scout". But I want it to be more than that.

It's not just scouting, in general florencio's play requires tricking the opponent into making mistakes that pros are less likely to make. That plus the pros having the reactions and "killer instinct" to know how and when to jump on the weak points as they spot them.

I can't believe he knew where to upgrade it, but the first three nexi were hotkeyed, so I'm guessing that Neeb did that along with building the first two nexi in such weird places, just to give Florencio a problem to solve when he got back from the fridge with some guac. I think he solved it well, but I don't think that Neeb had that blink sacrifice in mind when he upgraded that for Florencio XD They both learned some things :p

I love his games, just goes to show that it's not all macro and meta. Anyone else with his macro level would never ever make it this far (that's a complement ;) )

Does anyone Else Realize that vikings help when grounded against sucking up damage from stalkers and colosus. Kill off stalkers than go air to finish off colosus. Nothing is easy in SC2 But I know that worked more than siege tanks and Thor's against the same lineup I described

See, those are all armored units. So killing the colossi isn't that much of a priority. Colossi kills marines too quickly to let live, but they do shit damage against your army so having vikings dishing out their ridiculously high anti mech damage on the ground would be workable. Though tbh siege tanks with anything supporting them would work better against stalker colossi if you have them sieged.
