I feel like the biggest advantage the Empire has against the Imperium is their navy they'd just have to deal with the imperial ships having heavier fire power and longer range. Plus side imperial ship designers are even sillier about where they place weapons on their ship considering 40k vessels have all of theirs on their sides or bottoms/fronts. SW ships tend to have them on either their tops or bottoms

Nova cannons from 40k ships would any range issues, not to mention any close range warp jumps would wipe out any Imp ship.

@Ronfost89 maybe but turbo lasers are the equivalent of nukes but without the radiation and star destroyers have them in spades. I'm sure they'd do something to imperial ships

@@zacharyweaver276 they would do damage just keep in mind 40k ships have their own form of energy shields and are significantly chunkier then star wars ships since they are all built for ramming, so it would likely take a decent amount of shots to actually stop one

@@zacharyweaver276 yeah the weapon placements are mainly like that because it makes tabletop/videogames a lot more interesting if you have to think about the direction your ships are facing

As I remember, +-80 SMs were lost here. The Galactic Empire is very powerful

Ok a lot of those marines must have been blinded the whole time in the battle from how many blaster bolts were hitting them. I feel like the Empire decided that rather than giving the stromtroopers weapons that could penetrate space marine armor they just gave them blasters that make brighter flashes so the marines can't see to shoot

@@StarGamingProject Yes they blinded them and then shot them with grenade launchers or AT-STs
