$20? That's a deal! I'm hoping we get a reissue from Hasbro since this is the definitive version.

Hasbro seem to be focused on overpriced Rebels garbage at the moment.
As an old-school collector who just jumped back into collecting in 2020, this was a genuine treat! Totally jealous of that $20 price tag. Well worth it and it’s encouraging to know some secondary market sellers are reasonable. I hope they reissue this one in the near future.
This vehicle just smacks Star Wars, such an iconic but underrated vehicle. The only version I owned was the POTF version. It wasn't bad for the thine but not TVC qualiry. I would like to add the original Kenner version and the TVC version to the collection one day.
One of my favourite box art designs ever. The colours pop on my shelf!
Congrats again on scoring that amazing deal. I remember when you told me I could not believe it. Cool review. When they finally get us a Ben Kenobi and Farmboy Luke in TVC everyone is going to want this (including me).
I have the POTF2 version which is also nice looking so I feel it’s unnecessary to track down this one. Still glad it received an update though.
Gr8 artifact, Scales! ❤ 😃 Fun Fact ! ~ 😅 This Target exclusive Landspeeder is accurate 2 the vintage Kenner toy - hence the paintwork - Previous version uses most of the same mold / tooling - & - it's MORE accurate 2 the film ~ 😉👍
Definitely an iconic vehicle! I picked up the one with the clear box/display bubble, the Saga collection I believe? But I love that vintage style box so much more of course!!
I'm actually seeing this for the first time. As a TVC collector, I'm ashamed. After searching around. Sealed in box, this vehicle is about $200 US.
THAT WAS A BARGIN!!!! Was just in a store in North Charlotte - 185 dollars!!!!
Definitely a great looking speeder. 💪😎
10/10 for me no doubt about it. This vehicle even that it is so simple made rocks big time imho! Got mine in its package for a very low price of around 30€. Glad I bought it! As always thanks for sharing your review😊
Excellent landspeeder great video has always keep collecting and may the force be with you all star wars fans the force is strong with this one bossk bounty 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ANH Luke, 3PO, Leia, Han, all new sculpts are needed! If they had the Legacy Ben Kenobi sculpt I'd be okay with that but would prefer a new sculpt for him too!
Love it Tim, what an awesome vehicle. Hoping for a re-release for the 50th anniversary at the latest
Very nice pick up...I have the Michromachines and 6" black series one...would hope to grab this one..one day..cheers Tim🍺🍺🍻
Beautiful. OK, now you got me searching for this thing! Not cheap here in the UK though!
I have the 2002 Saga version, which is much more sand-brown in color. That one came packed with a Luke figure. This TVC version seems to utilize the colors featured in the original Kenner Landspeeder.
Tim, I hope you enjoyed your time in the USA. Great review ✌️
I have the black series one with the six inch farm boy Luke I picked up for £35 a couple of years back, it has much more detail but I would still like this one is it reminds me of the original Palitoy one I had as a kid here in the UK and I would display it much the same you did in the video 👍
Looks great to me. Never had this one only the original one. 20 bucks is amazing price. Want to see it on your shelf
This fits in with newer Vintage Collection, although if we get a re-release we need a newer Obi Wan and Luke to go with it. Great video as always
hopefully we get more mid sized vehicles in 3.75, would love a new AT-RT

YES! I would love a new AT-RT - would want 2 or 3 of them!
20 is a heck of a deal, these go for a solid 100 bucks in Canada. I had the original Lego version when I was a kid! Kids today however have an electric mini car they can actually drive.
Hi BB this ship is very cool . I love it too . 👍
love this pure nostalgia ! you know if Hasbro brought this out again now it would £59.99 !!!
Great price for that,I got mine on release and it was £19.99 back then.
I would really love to see a new Landspeeder in the line but even a TVC 2.0 rerelease could be awesome.
I really hope Hasbro does a rerelease or update of this, since the only one I've ever seen since I started collecting was a MIB example for $300 at a toy show, and i would love more small world building vehicles like this in TVC. I do have two of the 2004 Saga Collection versions. The exact same mold but the colors are way off with it being tan, metallic brown, and pale metallic blue... No idea what Hasbro were thinking when they painted that one (maybe looking at black white reference and keying colors from an old print?) But it's a good background piece if it doesn't have to be Luke's speeder, just the same model. And YES PLEASE, give us a new Farmboy Luke!
Brilliant looking vehicle, I think it should be a more orange brown personally. It is such a great deal that you got on this for a 20 & the box is more retro looking now also!🤦♂️😉 Cheers👍🍻
I've still got my original Kenner version (unboxed and well played with), a christmas present from 40+ years ago. Interestingly the gearstick / sprung wheel mechanism is almost identical to this one, I was always impressed as a kid how that gave it a satisfying 'floating' look as I whizzed it across the lounge floor!
I'd love to get one of these, I only have the 90s version. I also would love for them to do farm boy Luke and old ben, I'd like to get both of those figures sometime.
I'd love to see it re released with new new hope Luke which we need badly.
It’s a great ship! It’s perfect as is from packaging to product. This deserves a rerelease maybe in smaller numbers so people don’t have to pay crazy prices on the secondary market. I am sure if TVC did it today it would be a $65 price point or up. I am so glad I got this one before the market went bananas
Yeah, you got an outstanding deal on that… I paid $60 with no box and no rifle. I love the way it looks, but the functionality of this vehicle is a big fail in my opinion. Could barely get figures into it and that is frustrating. Somehow the vintage figures fit better? I was shocked. Great review!!!👍🏻
Thanks for the video.
After Luke gets it handed to him by the Tuskens, they start looting his speeder. This scene clearly shows the exposed engine.

Yep it is screen accurate, you just rarely see it from that side.
When they get around to doing a new Luke, they should do a straight re-release of this that ships at the same time as him. You got lucky with the price but it's not normally that cheap.
It's ok, the deco is a huge improvement over the previous version but it's still way too small, and really for TVC it deserved a new sculpt. Windscreens that don't even reach as high as the driver's head have always been a pet peeve of mine. I also dislike the gearstick play feature as it's not screen accurate and the wheels don't lift the vehicle up nearly high enough to look like it's floating; a clear flight stand would have been preferable. Also to match how C-3PO sits in the Mos Eisley scenes, there needs to be some space behind Luke's seat for his legs. He sits close behind Luke with his knees bent as if sitting on a chair, not with his legs stretched out as pictured on the box. I think in the movie they just bolted the Threepio costume from the knees up behind Luke's chair. So in my displays I have a Threepio with no lower legs sitting there... looks fine from most angles, I guess. Definitely worth $20, though! I wish mine had been that cheap
I think 20 bucks is a steal!

yep very happy!
I think it looks great I just really wish we had new ANH Luke and Old Ben to go with it lol
I have this, but no figures to put in it without a TVC farmboy Luke & old Ben
Very nice! I had the TBS version with 5 stormtroopers and a Dewback in my office for years. Only took it down because I moved offices, but it is my favorite scene to recreate because of how accurate you can go.

We need a TVC Dewback! I still have TBS version somewhere

@@BossksBounty Yes... yes we do
I have most of the 3.75” iterations and I don’t think any of them nailed the colour, apart from the original vintage release, which I don’t have. The Black Series is probably the closest in the modern era. I think I enjoy the POTF version most, even if it’s quite chunky, the paint apps give it some flair and it’s just fun looking and really robust
I kinda do agree that the paint apps would be much better, we'd still end up with no paint at the back, however i think the price increase would put most people off. We haven't really seen the fall out from the Speeder and At-St yet have we? i've seen some facebook posts about speeders going on special.. In Nz they kind of went on a store wide 20% off special week two.. but that is something they seem to do often even with new releases.. its really strange like they don't want to have stock for long.
Not too shabby for 20 notes, although it looks tiny in your hands. The see through wheels are good and the weathering is on-point. The 'D' area behind the seats could've been hollow to allow 3-P0 to get his legs in, but that's an easy conversion. I had the the original way back in the late 70's, my brother said I didn't like it, so it was swapped for the die-cast mini X-Wing... at the age of 7 I was a fool!
$20? You win!
Wish I could find one for twenty bucks!
You mean from the 70's or 80's or the 90's POTF 2 collection ? but still that landspeeder looks awesome Bossk, nice review

This mold was used in 2002, a lighter colored version. The Kenner version was different
Can't believe Luke got 2,000 credits for that hooptie.
@superfunforce8052

Id pay that
I have a different version with the paint being more brown and toned down, which I feel is more screen accurate. The colors on this version are more similar to the original vintage version. It is a great landspeeder though and $20 is a great price.

Yeah I think you must have the 2022 version (Blue packaging)
I just looked at my POTF landspeeder the other day. How does it compare? The nose looks longer?
I just got this on Mercari for 20$, but the windshield is orange/brown! Anyone have any ideas to make it clear again?
$20 and nowadays a swoop speeder is close to 50. ouch
It boggles my mind that they never released the dewback for TVC to go along with the landspeeder. What a miss. And Hasbro has been all about dioramas lately. They could have done the Lars Homestead to go with the landspeeder and figures.
20 credits - u say ? 😱 U scored that artifact off a group of shady Jawas - didn'cha ? ~ 😅
It looks cool but is too orange. I’ve got the one from about 1999.
Before i watch the video, I have this and I must say it's nice to look at but not very good at actually ferrying around figures, especially those with hard goods...

I say similar - we need a new Luke!
I'd by that for a dollar...er, twenty
Man, it don’t feel like 2011 lmao.
