SPOILERS to comment readers I honestly felt as though Traitor deserved the hard cover release when compared to this outing I agree that the high points of the novel were the conversations with Vergere. It’s funny how you mentioned Kreia. As Vergere predates her appearance to the franchise as KOTOR II was released in 2004 while destiny’s way hit shelves in 2003 I don’t care for the handling of Tsa Vong Lah, especially here. They defanged him and his threat level early on in this series when Jacen Solo threw him out of a skyscraper window. And then Lah more or less bumbled his way through the war poorly conquering planets and incompetently purging treachery. Too see this guy get so unceremoniously defeated by Jaina gave me a feeling of, “Why should I have ever cared about this guy?” Especially when the marketing and author’s claimed he was to be the Vader of the Vong War But that’s just my two cents, and what stood out to me the most from this entry. Thanks for the reviews of NJO. I like listening to your perspective
