The first one too.

I love how Starkiller hesitates before telling Vader he has visions of Juno. Like he knows Vader has some sort of problem with it specifically. And he's right, Vader snaps at him when he mentions her. That's some good writing and performance. Nothing Starkiller said got to him until that. Vader is pushing his own suppression of Padme's memory onto his apprentice.

In addition, it's a subtle thing regarding how people try to choose their words specifically in front of someone who's holding their leash. In this case, it's because Starkiller isn't fully sure if he's a clone of Galen Marek or that he is the original and his memories have been tampered with(Which is a mystery that I love this game for introducing). Either way, trusting Vader isn't what he wants to do, but he's gotta be careful with what he says and does around him if he wants to survive.

Realistically the amount of force lightning he shot at Vader would have killed him. It's even been confirmed in Star Wars canon and ROTJ that Vader's armor was not designed to repel force lightning. And the fact that he did not immediately kill Juno was likely intentional. His aim was to turn Starkiller back to the dark side. The only way to do so was to use his own rage against him.

If you choose the dark side ending it is revealed that there's another seemingly perfect clone so it's a reasonable question. What matters though is that despite the similarities, there are also a number of stark differences between Galen in FU1 and Starkiller in FU2. Starkiller preferring Jar-kai dual blade fencing over a single saber being the most obvious one.

@@hellothere-bx8cf I liked the sequels a bit but TROS was very disappointing IMO. I expected so much more. The knights of Ren was so useless. It was also annoying how Rey could heal and anakin couldnt. in TLJ almost nothing in the story was resolved.

As far as I can tell, Starkiller was still his original self in the cloned body. Like his Force ghost found its way to the clone body through the Midichlorians which I'm certain Vader artificially manipulated from his original DNA. That has always been the difficulty when attempting to clone Jedi. That's why the other clones went mad. However, in the current canon, Sidious has been attempting the same thing, but for himself to transfer to the new body, but I digress. My original point is that any of Vader's clones would go completely mad because his own Force energy is still in his own body, unless Vader cloned a version of himself incapable of using the Force. Which would ultimately defeat the purpose

I’m fully aware of the extremely low likelihood that we would ever get Starkiller back into the canon of Star Wars. However, these two games were a very nostalgic part of my childhood. While I understand that Starkiller is super overpowered, he is a video game character. And a pretty awesome video game character at that.😊

Yeah but even as a sith trained Jedi as a ,imo, grey he only clung by the skin of his teeth having the passion to fight for those you care for but can harness the rage and not be turned. With that and his dual Jedi patronage he still only beat Vader barely, and died at least once for it.

Oh boy you really have poor standards. 3 hours of gameplay tops, extra bugged environments and ennemies, nothing to unlock, and obvious rushed places like Dagobah The games even puts you through 3 different environment, one of wich is only made with corridors. I was hyped for this game after finishing the first one and I still think this has to be my biggest disapointment in my personnal gaming history.

@@vincentperon2950 - Couldn't agree more. FU1 was pretty fun, if a bit goofy at times regarding the storyline, FU2 ranks with Command and Conquer 4 as one of my biggest purchase regrets.

"Rise above this, she means nothing!" - the guy who almost died, got mutilated, had his life ruined, lost everything, suffered endlessly, committed a genocide and caused trillions to suffer through 20 years of galactic fear and tyranny just because he couldn't rise above this and she meant everything

I love how without a third game one can just assume that Boba killed everyone and broke Vader out so the OT can play out as normal.

That “I can’t!” Delivery is so good phenomenal voice acting and motion capture by Joe Duffy wish I saw him in more stuff 5:25

One of the things I really missed in the 2nd game was Vader and the emperor's upspeak and downspeak when they would say phrases Ex: when Vader said "I lied!" and the emperor "andthenyouwilldie" That was almost as entertaining as the game.

When I first played this game I didn’t think it tied in with the original trilogy. Years later when I played Battlefront and then heard them mention Operation Cinder in an episode of the Mandalorian I finally realized that the video games are canon

Never mind that it would raise the same lore questions as TFU, like "If this extremely powerful demigod Jedi was running around the whole time, why hasn't Vader already been beaten?"

Dee Bradley Baker killed it as Boba Fett, I’m not a big fan of this game in particular, but the story is 10x better than the first game I thought.

Æmeth Tau I personally think Galen is more powerful than Vader and possibly The Emperor, just his only weakness is himself , his emotions , unwillingness to accept the circumstances for what they are despite leaning toward the light side hinders him in the spur of the moment, when in action to make decisions carefully, leading to some unexpected demise that could have been stopped if it weren’t for his emotions getting in the way .

Kota always seems to have the aboloute control over Starkiller preventing him from actually falling to the dark side. Kota is not his master but it always look like Jedi and Padawan when Starkiller is next to Kota

Starkiller survived a lightsaber right through the stomach. Memory erasing is a thing in cannon. Vader erasing his memories and making him think he’s a clone isn’t impossible. This entire story was Vader manipulating Galen

@@cooldude2027 I know but they were largely flawed. Eventually it was successful in one clone. What is the likelihood that the emperor had a new extremely powerful perfect clone made before his other, while he was still making degenerated clones. I don’t know about the lore behind his second perfect clone so I don’t know when that was made exactly but probably after the one we play as right? Is there an exact date as to when everything happens? That would be evidence enough for either side to come out as clearly correct probably

It doesn’t matter what Disney says, I think it should be up to the fans to decide what’s canon and what’s not. Disney shouldn’t even have the ability to say what is and what isn’t canon

Starkiller nearly became canon again as an inquisitor, but the idea was scrapped because he was too op, which wouldn’t make sense for him to be an inquisitor

@@cooldude2027 Why the hell can't they just rewrite his character then? Just give Galen a brand new backstory and he doesn't have to be that strong. Then he can be canon but I guess that's too much for Disney to handle.

@@Diamond_2403 I don’t know man, I do wish he was canon again, hell, I don’t understand why they couldn’t go with his original backstory, I could see it fitting in the canon, but it’s not my call unfortunately

@@cooldude2027 I guess Disney really can't just handle Star Wars. If he really was originally going to become an inquisitor, they could've nerfed him down. But that reasoning that he was too op is just a dumb excuse to not make him canon imo. I guess they prefer op characters with no training whatsoever *cough cough Rey cough cough* over op characters that actually struggled to get where they are.

Still the best Star Wars game ever...no matter even if Disney or anybody says it's not canon.

@@daestka5512 meaning that this power is unknown between jedi and sith. Only the strongest user's of the Force and Dark side are able to achieve it. But Starkiller did it without knowing this power.

That is more watchable than any of the sequels what a great storyline. You have more than earned your subscription from me. Would love to see you do KOTOR as that's an incredible game.

the fact this was a 360 game i saw the disk on the floor and searched it up for memory and i never knew how good it looked

Since Disney bought the Star Wars franchise, I realize how great the Force Unleashed team was at storytelling. Starkiller and Kota's dialogue in the Rogue Shadow (after defeating the giant rangkor) feels so real and witty compared to the corny dialogue in recent Star Wars films. Just skimming this video I found some instances of non-verbal storytelling such as the audio used at 28:55 to infer how close Starkiller and Kota were to the ground and proxy inadvertently shapeshifting into Boba Fett at 39:18 to fill the player in on what happened on the ship.
