I just found this channel and just finished the hour+ video on 'every question in the original trilogy' and subscribed immediately. This will be my second video I've watched. Hell yeah...

If Alex had his way, he'd just be tracking the genealogy of Biggs Darklighter and any members of his extended family, but instead, he put us first and gave us a feature length video on the history of the entire Star Wars Galaxy. What a guy.

Honestly my favorite part of these videos is the format and layout. I love the way you organized everything. From the posters of the projects being talked about to the year counter. It just looks so official, like Lucasfilm themselves made it. Excellent job as always!

More and love how people are getting to see why this is my favorite Star Wars channel that maintains consistency of positivity and canon consistency without toxic backlash. Clearly there are things they don't enjoy about Star Wars, but Alex and Molly still show how it's canon regardless. I doubt Molly or Alex will read this but thank you both for all you do. I hope you have a good revenge of the 5th even though sixth sounds better. :)

I think once The High Republic is done, you should do a complete timeline video of just that. Sounds like it should be about an hours worth of information at least.

Hello, Alex and Molly. I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks again for this amazing timeline. I've watched / listened several years in a row now. It's a great May the Fourth tradition. This year, my eight-year-old son and I listened to the whole thing on the subway to and from the movie theater where we saw The Phantom Menace (in the same cinema I saw it opening night 25 years ago). I was proud and happy when he asked if we could listen to the whole thing again the next day on the way to swimming! May the Force be with you both for many a fourth to come!

I make a point to watch this every year. I always look forward to it. Thank you for it. I have always had a deep love for all of the Star Wars media for over forty years.

Another year another update always glad to see it maybe one day we could get an updated legends timeline with newer graphics and longer video a man can dream

I agree. There is so much of Legends the last video could have been as long as this one.

I've always wanted to read the novels and comic books but find it all too overwhelming. These timeline videos are a godsend.

correction on the 18 bby section: hemlock initially interrogated crosshair for omega's whereabouts in order to get nala se to cooperate in project necromancer, since lama su told him about nala se's bond with omega. hemlock just saw omega as a bargaining chip until emerie revealed omega's blood test results in s3e3.

Thanks for doing this every year. I haven't kept up with the online SW community since 2018 or so (it grew too toxic around that time for me to stick around), but it's always nice to check in and see what stories and lore I'm interested in exploring on my own.

Quick note: Tarkin doesn't destroy Alderaan as punishment for Organa not revealing the location of the Rebel base, he did it to teach her a lesson in general. She lied, thinking it would save her planet, and even though he believed her, he destroyed the planet anyway.

Back in 2021 I finished re-watching all the movies and tv shows plus the ones I hadn't watched yet. Once I finished I found myself wanting more, so I decided to start reading the books and comics going in chronological order. I watch these timeline updates every year to see how far I come and it's a great motivator. I am currently reading Aftermath: Life Debt and made it to 1:24:00 in the video. MTFBWY!

This thing is basically a yearly tradition now. Thank you for all the work you do wrangling these crazy plot threads together into one cohesive timeline.
