i am enjoying the fight scenes, also the name of poison it named after the Boota class pod race from Tatooine from episode 1 .

My guess is, Qimir is manipulating Mae (and the Jedi) by presenting himself as feckless. Did you see how he seemed to anticipate Mae’s attack on him and easily reverse it? He seemed way more capable in that moment than he lets on most of the time. I believe he is the Sith Lord we saw at the end of first episode and probably an apprentice to a Sith master. As far as the killing with no weapons stuff, I think it’s a Sith koan/lesson of sorts that he is trying to teach Mae. Something like, to really defeat a Jedi you have break their faith and/or peoples belief in them (the Sith end game eventually realized by Palpatine). Mae is taking it literally and not getting the deeper meaning. As Qimir, the Sith Lord is toying with Mae and encouraging her misunderstanding because the Sith are sadistic and it keeps Mae feeling inadequate.

only two episodes in and the jedi are showing their ass. cop or monk. cop or monk, one or the other. being both has never and will never work out.
