But if the story didn't match your expectations you engaged with the story as presented with a 'wait and see' attitude which I appreciated as well. Keep up the great work!!

Awesome reaction! and I noticed you recorded in 4k nice! I've made the switch in some of our videos to 4k as well we use a program called riverside for our 4k videos it doesnt use up my computers ram to record. But love your releasing reactions!

I saw your Moana 2 one and I thought it was so smart to just have one of you in the corner watching the trailer with it in a bigger format. Smart. I've made the switch on the last two reactions. Im not to sure how many started reading the High Republic books, theyre all written for tween and young adults. So your spot on with the show, I anticipated that this series was going to target that fan base. I really enjoyed both episodes, and seeing some of the characters in live action. Im looking forward to the rest.

Hello, John. Great vid. To be honest, the two-episode debut of "The Acolyte" was neither a bad start nor a good one, but I do love a few moments. Keep up the good work and may the Force be with you.

When the young girl said she saw fire, you said you thought that was a young May. When at that point, the show hadn't mentioned her yet. Or am I missing something

Imo- watched the first episode , thought it was “okay”. The female perspective is strong with this version of Star Wars but I also enjoyed said female perspective-vibe. Kinda reminded me of a coming of age Star Wars, like a 90210 version of the original. I don’t think George Lucas Star Wars traditionalists “ fandom” will enjoy Headland version.

I'm a little worried about the reviewers I've watched not knowing why the hero of the story would do what she could to save a life, criminal or otherwise...

I'm really enjoying the show, but I do agree that killing off Carrie-Ann Moss's character was a bad creative call. In my opinion, they haven't covered the past enough to make it work.

Agreed! Though, the first two episodes had OK starts....and I love a few good moments.

Just finished episode 1. I thought it was good, not great. Has me intrigued.

I really liked the first 2 episode, but I consider this show as a no canon SW serie honestly and that's why I gave a good note of 7/10

Production quality is hight and the Wushu action is shot well, but so far the story telling doesn't flow well like so many other mediocre D+ series. I'm gonna hang in there for two more episodes, but if those two don't hit for me I'm likely out. However, I am very curious how the Kogonada directed episodes will turn out, so I might stick around for those. Kogonada directing a Star War anything is another Chloé Zhao + MCU situation-great filmmaker but bad fit? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
