Darth Vader's iconic breathing still gives me the chills to this day.

I always thought Barriss would’ve been inducted into the inquisitorous. Crazy to see it happening in this trailer alone. Also Merrin and Morgan are two sides of the same coin: both survived the purge caused by Grievous. The only difference is Merrin chooses to move forward and finds a new family while Morgan holds onto that sorrow to drive her into working with terrible people

The irony of Barriss Offee becoming an Inquisitor and serving Vader when Anakin felt rage when battling her for betraying Ahsoka. I’m looking forward to seeing Barriss in live action Ahsoka; after initially expecting her to be in season one when they first announced the series.

Seeing the text “fear” and then immediately seeing grievous with the epic music is so cool

This is going to be fun! Personally I’m looking forward to the barriss stuff then everything else.

I'm excited to see this and The Acolyte as for Bariss don't be surprised if Vader kills her because of what she tried to do with Ahsoka

This looks great, the bad batch has been solid too, is not the greatest star wars show ever but it has been quite good, and they are definitely going to end in a Grogu connection.

Why are these animated shorts so much better than anything except Andor?

I can imagine Ahsoka telling Bariss why she betrayed her straight up if they meet one day again in a season. Bariss can tell her something like "your master almost killed me bringing me to justice."

I like that we're going to get a backstory and a "whatever happened to" story...

Grevious Hype!

I realized what my problem with engaging with Star Wars now is. Because of the third trilogy, I have no incentive to get attached to any new characters from the post Empire era because we know they're mostly going to all die, and the in-Empire era I feel like was done plenty pre-Disney. I want a new story direction, so that nothing is known about what's next. Not re-hashing of the same characters over and over in different but predictable situations. But until they start producing series post First Order era, there is no desire to get attached to "they'll likely be dead soon enough" characters. Remembering that the entire New Republic, down to the floorboards, is wiped from the map in one inconsequential action, so that Disney could rewrite a New Hope "but bigger" means that I'm all but checked out, when it comes to Star Wars, for any characters that we're seeing now. We know Thrawn fails. We know Mandalore doesn't become a significant player. We know that all these tales from the Empire, end in ultimately failure. Until they start on the "Further Adventures of Rey 'Must-be-another-Skywalker'" and tell us where Finn ends up, I don't think I'm going to really get attached to anything. The Mandalorian was good until they reminded us about the "decay of the New Republic" and the "origins of the First Order" which puts us right back to "They're all going to die". Even Thrawn is a known failure, because otherwise the New Republic wouldn't have become complacent when the First Order rose. These stories are all trying to fill the gap they never should have created, in a storyline that we already know the ending to.
