X3 also has an amazing SW version, and it's cheaper.

I did the civilian start ones, later bought other old freighters for my trading company. Did one Bounty Hunter tour. And last one was the Gozanti start, bringing supplies to the front. Had a blast with all of them but now with missions, voicelines and even more ships I'll probably come back to it. Would be perfect for some cozy winter evenings spent on the bridge of my ship.

Please do a full playthrough. I would love to see every episode of it.

I would absolutely LOVE to see a series of this, the series goal could be do the Kamino event and then wipe out a faction, keeping it short and interesting since there aren't story missions to do. Seeing you run an empire on a scale that x4 does would be the dream

Just bought X4 Foundations a few days ago, can't wait to get into modding!

I have to warn you, the Clone Venator start is really hard. The Providence and its droid wings massively outgun you. However, if you do survive, you get a nice Clone Venator decked out with those lovely blue turbolasers. Not many of your arc-170's or aethersprites will survive though, so your flight wing will be heavily depleted. The ship itself is a bit vulnerable to bombers. The point defense and anti-corvette weaponry on the Venator is not very good. Great long range anti-capital weaponry though. I am saying this before actually playing the new version so it could have changed, but it is the start I almost always do and it takes planning and a bit of luck for me to actually escape.

Play as defector would be cool like get a venetor and defect to empire or get one of the empire ship and defect to rebel that would be fun to do.

The imperial warlord start looks like fun. Getting involved in trying to unify a fractured empire

Not gonna lie, I was a little sad when I realized this wasn't the preface to you starting a full playthrough on the channel. Your X3 streams are some of my all-time favorite content of yours, so if you ever decide to jump into this I will be all for it.

This looks gorgerous, hope you do a campaing on this! I have a soft-spot for the Arquitens cruisers

Would take a ton of editing, it's great to play not necessarily great to watch for most people lol.

1:16 I absolutely adore games like this with fleshed out interiors that you can move about in. Really want one where you can just chill out on the ship while it autopilots to a destination.

in X4 you can totally chill out around the bridge while your captain is flying the ship wherever you wish. It's a blast of a game, tho it could do with a bit better performance. that being said I've not tried this update yet so perhaps it is actually not a problem anymore. Seeing your 2 venators deploy about 200 fighters into a massive fight that sees multiple capital ships and just a ton of chaos is a very enjoyable, cinematic experience here.

the advanced last clone start makes you start off with a fully loaded venator vs a fully loaded providence and the start now has a long term goal to expand kamino

This mod group got me into X3 and loving X4

Started an anoat merc campaign last week. Ended up as a New Republic general with a chokehold on the durasteel plate economy. Slowly building a fleet to eventually take over hutt space

I never did a rebel playthrough so im going to be a rebel trader that had some bad luck. the rebels contracted me to supply some stations with that seeing the evil empire for what they are!

Sandbox start in Z95 in smuggler's run system where all the major factions hate you a lot and you have to repair your reputation the hard way with at least one of them to survive the game long term. Either destroy their enemy fighters near their stations or dodge station turbolasers while only hitting criminal short range transports to repair reputation.

A new series on this mod would be awesome

Did you know you can make your own fleets in thrawns revenge too, shavk you should do a thrawns revneg playthrough you can steal ships now

I actually never ended up buying X4 despite having owned all the prior games and expansions but, this is convincing me to probably buy it just so I can play this mod. This is one of the most impressive things I think I have ever seen.

I didn't realise that the update was out, so thanks much for the video. If you do do a playthrough, I would recommend also downloading " Dreadnoughts and Battlecruisers for SWI " Get some of those big ships in there.

The major thing is the X series is very slow paced with a fairly strong focus on industry. Far more of your time will be spent on setting up durasteel production in Interworlds then say 'taking the fight to the Empire'.

You’ve sold me on X4, added it to steam Wishlist to track sales

Given that I don't even have the base game yet, I'd wait for a full release. That aside, the advanced empire commander starts look interesting to me. For some time I've been in love with the concept of a formerly loyal imperial commander trying to rebuild his small corner of the galaxy to be something better than anything the empire or rebels could have pulled off.

I downloaded X3 with its Star Wars mod a few years back but never really got into it. My laptop is a potato so there's no way I can play X4 but maaaaaaan this looks awesome

Having a clone wars series and then later in the future after 66 you join the rebels!

Oh shack please please please do not just one but 2 playthroughs of this! I know you will want to do a rebel one "no pun intended" ;) but I'd also love to see an Imperial warlord or "an ambitious sith wanting to be the dark lord of the sith" I hope you see this in the sea of comments because I'd really love to see you play this game since I don't have a computer strong enough, nor the spare cash to buy one that will be able to run this.

I decided to go with the Kuat start this time. Ive restarted many many times, so kinda tired of the ‘1 fighter, no money’ slow start. Plus, you start in NR space (surrounded by enemies), and get access to empire and republic ships.

yeah i'd love to see this, i do love EaW, but a mini break would be cool

I would recommend the Mandalorian Start since to me it is a lot of fun, you start with a pretty good fighter and can go around to do pirating and raiding in the systems around Mandalorian Space, to me it just feels like an interesting start also Mandalorian ships are really quite beefy in general so once you get to empire building using Mandalorian ships turns out quite nice

There's been so far only one person I know of that made a cinematic story with X4. Guild of Noobs Lord Dobersift's X4 Story. It's not a Let's play but a narrated summary with some nice visuals and presentation. If Shack would make a Star Wars Let's Play of Interworlds I hope it will be like what Dobersift has done.

I will wait for 1.0. Have too many games to play atm but I will look forward for the new stuff and improvements.

The voice acting is top notch.

X4 has so much potential

Hurray, i've been eagerly awaiting the compatibility update! Can't wait to reenable SW and do some dogfighting.

Now don't be fooled this mod is very pretty BUT the game itself has a steep learning curve

looks so amazing.......problem is that you have to learn how to actually play X4 first before you can even touch a total conversion. Wish someone would do a tutorial on that.

If you do a campaign I think a imperial remnant story would be cool. You did a rebel cell on X3

How is the game performance compared to vanilla or Vanilla with mods that add more ships? Is this mod heavy on fps. I have a pretty solid PC, but I worry about poorly optimized mods since even with a good PC lag will happen

Hey Shack, The Battlestar Galactica: Fleet commander mod for Homeworld Remastered is back and very much alive again. I remember that you had the Theatrical trailer uploaded on your channel back when Phoenix Interactive team was working on it. Well its now Viper interactive They have uploaded a bunch of stuff on their channel already and have a release date for end December for the release of the mod now Its been a long and hard development cycle for them but the work looks genuinly great and accurate to the show because they have one of the original CG designers as a director helping them keeping it like the show.

If I had to wait for Interworlds 1.0, I might just be an actual starship pilot by the time it releases.

for me Glory to the Empire, but in all seriousness when it comes to ship designs there is something that makes Imperial ships so Intimidating and built on fear also the practicality of them like how ISD's can fire all port and starboard guns on one target, and their fighters ( all be it screaming that fighter pilots are lesser than your average Captain or Admiral with no shields or life support or hyperdrives) i can't get over the sounds of a TIE just flying pass. But don't give me wrong i love ALL star wars Ships from prequal to original but Empire is my FAV

@Shuulleecho yeah I've done modding for star trek armada 3, it's the same process I just can't find my extensions folder for x4 for some reason

Its currently at 0.76 isnt it i might be wrong its been a bit. But a 1.08 release would be a big deal imo since theyve done small updates if im correct befor this. Essentially a full release im excited for it and got the game downloading again tonignt. Game not mod
