Star Wars Land at Disney Parks is going to be awesome and by the way, Star Wars is a property of 20th Century-Fox and Lucasfilm Ltd.

Star Wars was now fully owned by Disney now. Lucasfilm was also a parter by Disney.

Tj Samson I'm gonna miss the 20th Century-Fox logo and fanfare for Star Wars.

Was at D23 - Disney announced they purchased 14 acres on the other side of their existing property in Anaheim that is currently occupied by several large office buildings. They will be tearing those buildings down to build the new Star Wars Park - no impact to existing park.

They should have Jar Jar there, so everyone can hit him

Disneyland is very space limited, what are they going to get rid of to make 14 free acres for the new themed park? They had to build the parkade and build DCA on the old parking lot..So what's leaving? Toontown?

Boba DeLarge Behind it? Like a mirror of the space on a map toontown occupies? Outside the berm where the circle D ranch is would be good if it's big enough (but keeping big thunder railway ride of course:) edit.. does Disney own the parking lot at 300 west Katella? if so, they should build a bunch of new lands there and maybe tunnel under to Katella and Harbour all the way to Disney way to connect the parks with the new lands.. could be some kind of walking "dark ride" in that tunnel..

Whats going to be season of the force? What date, month? i hated the hyperspace mountain

I have heard rumors of Star Wars Land taking over ToonTown, sadly. I doubt that they will connect the two parks but hey, anything can happen if you let it!

we need to see a x wing launched rollercoaster

It's a pitty that this does not come to disneyland in Paris.

It shouldn't even go to Hollywood Studios. Anaheim is the dream and Walt Disney World can figure out their own stuff. oh wait... They don't have smart enough imagineers over there.

+officalfoxbox13 Sorry, but it's true. Disneyland Paris has been losing money hand over fist for years. Massive budget cuts have caused a lack of. maintenance to basic infrastructure including lighting.

It seems that Disney is going all in since scooping this up from George Lucas.

I bet if Lucas still owned it, all the haters would be crying "Greedy!", "Cash-Grab!", "Milking it!" etc. etc.. but oh, when Di$ney does it - "This is great!", "This will be awesome!", "This is gonna be epiiiiic!"....

Sorry but, the constant whining and crying about "Oh those lame Prequels!", "That horrible EU!", "All those stupid TVshows!", "Lucas ruined SW!" and "Lucas raped my childhood!" that started way back *_in 1999_* and that haven't stopped at all, *_even now_*, make it *_VERY_* hard for me to believe that.

What about to non star wars land? smh let me guess marvel land next.. Man disney lol

Universal has the theme park rights to Marvel hence the Marvel Super Hero Island at Islands of Adventure.

+asskakakaka that's just for Disneyworld. Disney owns the rights to Marvel anywhere west of the Mississippi in the US, as well as anywhere outside the US.
