Just wanted to Highlight the different Attitude towards gotchas between 40k and SWL. As Kyle said you are helping your opponent avoid those and try to clear Up weird rules Interactions that might come Up before the Game, even in competetive Games. Where in 40k some Players try to purpusfully try to Set Up gotchas in competetive Games to get an Advantage. This is a big part why I left 40k and Love Legion ❤

Ram’s new wording is such that you could take saber throw on fifth brother or any force user in the future with ram, and move saber throw and get two free crits at range 2 pierce 1. Seems like a loophole. Edit: They talk about it at ~ 25:20 good stuff gentlemen. This was my question in the legion discord really cool seeing it called out here.

Rule Change I would like for Kallus. If Kallus has 2 of his own cards as Contingencies, he can play it INSTEAD of a card from his hand. Then discard a card from your hand with the same pip. Why? Because if I only have cards in my hand for a dead character, I can't play it. Meaning Kallus can't play a contingency because I can't play a card from my hand That's the whole point of having a contingency plan and he can't do it! I really don't like that. What do you think?

Help me out hive mind: yall mention the reducing of speed for hostages via the battle shield card. If a player were to deploy with the armored part of the shield up, would they not be able to be moved during the setup phase?

The card states to reduce your speed by 1 to a minimum of 1 - so now you would not go to speed zero

@@anthoniestrada3252 the idea, which they talked about on the cast, is when you combine the hostage card with the armored side of the shield card, your speed goes to zero since the shield doesn’t say “to a minimum of 1.” Nevertheless, the forums actually clarify this and state that a unit with a speed of 0 that.

… that doesn’t have either the “stationary” keyword or an immobilize token(s) can perform speed x moves, like the ones via the Battleforce, force push, or for deploying a unit with the hostage

The height distinction is old, when clamber changed that basically changed. The old rules said that anything over half model height(which became half silhouette height) was basically difficult terrain, in that it slowed your move down by 1. With the new clamber rules, and basically being able to speed one over anything, that basically became a function of difficult terrain only and not terrain height. What you both neglect to mention, in your ep 3 lava pad scenario, is that any two players are going to agree the lava in your scenario is probably impassible terrain, or ay least difficult terrain, before the game ever begins, if the tournament rules for the table dont say as much

You do actually mention it, but here the initial use of the "unless" it's designated difficult/impassible, is pretty misleading, especially when it's acknowledged later on your point

I absolutely really dislike the different ways you give examples of how people abusive the rules. People who do these types of things is why we cant have good and easy rules. Who even reads the rules and tried to find loopholes to break a certain rule. Get a life or just play the obvious way it is meant to be played.
