I am enjoying Legion greatly, love your terrain!

Just returned home from a demo night. Enjoyed the gameplay mechanics and strategy but WHAT were you thinking with the core box contents??? WHY would you not include enough dice to fully create the needed dice pools for Luke/Darth or for a complete unit of troopers for that matter? WHY would you not include 2 sets of the attack and movement measurement sticks? Will it be a fun game?...probably...but don't cheapen it by making me drop more money right off the bat just so I can smoothly play the game.

@@yoboypengu3801 $35 USD if you buy from Amazon. Here in Canada Boardgamebliss.com sells unit expansions (same thing as squads?) for $28 CAD. That's probably about $22 USD? Coolstuffinc has trooper expansions for $21.49 USD www.coolstuffinc.com/p/252851

This is a really pretty looking game can't wait to get my hands on it. It's going to be fun to create smaller, more diverse tables for a skirmish game like this. Mix things up from my normal stuff.

Definitely hoping for some Clone Wars era content. Need me some Clones & Jedi Order & I doubt a tabletop game like this will be able to have much longevity if it just sticks to the OT era and rebels vs Empire. Definitely hoping to see some Rogue One & Star Wars Rebels stuff added after they get the obligatory OT nostalgia stuff out of the way.

I would have gone with something outrageous like Scy-Kai or maybe just jumble celebrities names around like Listopher Cree, Huke Cameel, Fairee Cisher, Farrison Hoard, Mewen Ec-Gregor, Jamuel El Saxon...

Yeah! Really looking forward to this. I’ve made a conservative pre-order to make sure I paint what get (begone foul painting backlog!) but looking forward to expanding my collection as the range grows.

Two thing I wanted to find out ... 1) How big are the minis compared to IA? 2) Are the made of the same plastic as IA or hard plastic like GW?

I got to play this game last week-end at a demonstration. I last played miniatures more than twenty years ago. My wife of fifteen years may not be seeing much of me. That demo game has rekindled a fire and Legion could be a a reason to forget tge to do list. Unless it is painting that new squad of stormtroopers.

Shame the design didn't fully take into account the idea of using characters, a real surprise for Star Wars! If the game had an attachment system like CMON's A Song of Ice and Fire where you slip named characters into units to give them a buff it would have been able to skillfully handle adding minor new characters like Jyn Erso. Instead they have to be represented by a high-powered super-character, more like a Warhammer 40K Lord, which just doesn't work for Jyn and leaves out all the lesser characters from Rogue One, Rebels, the heroes from Imperial Assault, etc.

Fantasy flight games is too good to be true. I bet that by 2035 they will be the first brand to have holographic board games. 😱

I really like the look of all your Star Wars games, and I'd for sure love to get into them all if I came across the funds. I've seen your other promo videos, and they got me even more hyped to try them out. But the guy talking about this new one? He sounds bored. If I wasn't already interested, he wouldn't really get me excited for it. If anything, I'd be turned off to it. How could I as a consumer get excited for something if the guy trying to sell me on it sounds like he's doing a dry run of a script reading? Just something to keep in mind for the future.

Not invested until some clone wars content is supported.

I got in to legion when I was at a convention somebody gave me a free expansion pack

The game seems interesting but I'm more of a "Clone Wars" fan than "Vader, Luke & co" fan, if a Clone Wars expansion pack is ever made, I'm buying the game.

well thats the fun you can paint them however you want or if u want the easiest way out take the empire troopers paint them all black and call them shadow troopers lol

I would have really loved _Legion_ alongside _X-Wing_ and _Armada_ if I still loved _Star Wars._ Direct economic effects of poor management on a franchise aside, I liked the video regardless because of the awesome content.

Do they mention the hundreds of dollars spent to have a decent game?

Yeah I hope it'll come one day because that would just be awesome, but not many people really care about the sequels that much and a lot more people would rather see new units for things that are currently going on such as ahsoka and andor and the mandalorian rather than they would want to see stuff from the sequels

if you don't really care, its as simple as buying some spray paint primer, priming the imperials Red or Black, and spraying the rebels, Red or Brown. just so you can tell the difference in "Good and Bad"

Not even able to give us the same scale as IA so f....u FFG. Disrespect for players only their to make money at our expanse. Sorry but thats the way I see it.

Remember that time Luke and Vader commanded armies against one another on Endor then had an epic saber battle amidst said skirmish? Yeah me neither. This is why Disney, and therefore FFG, should have went Old Republic instead. Being based upon the OT kills this for me.

mikeT1100 Nah, my priorities are fine. You're right. It's just a game. There are a million others that make more sense. I don't have to buy into this one just because it's STAR WARS! I love SW however. Would just have liked for this one to be better with more room for some story elements and campaigns that weren't so jarringly absurd due to canon. If you're a fan of an IP, you're going to want to see it done well or as best as possible. I don't see anything wrong with that. Sorry if that upsets your blind obedience to compulsively buy into anything that carries your favorite logo.

Game Talker I have no plans on buying this game. If you want to make your own canon or stick to established canon in a tabletop game you should stick to RPGs. Don't write off at game as shit just because it doesn't follow a narrative, that's absurd.

Can't you create own stories? If not: You shouldn't play any of tabletop games like Warhammer, Lord of the Rings, Bolt Action, SAGA or SW Legion...

mikeT1100 When did I say it was shit? You seem awfully triggered to have no intention of investing in it. I simply said it wasn't for me for the aforementioned reasons. It would seem less convoluted had it been set in a period where there is far more room for nuance and formulation of consistency to one's own story/timeline.
