I play Shadow Collective. I love Maul. You're going to end up buying a lot of core units, but they are a lot of fun. They are quite a bit of finess. You do have a very small amount of options, but that can be a good thing depending on what you want. They rely heavily on giving themselves tokens by not handing out command tokens, so you will be playing random units almost every single time. You won't be controlling the order of what units go when unless you take the loss of those additional tokens you would have gain. Tons of fun, good units but I would say if you don't love the characters then maybe stick with what you like.

I play shadow collective, if you do it right, they are a faction that uses patience if you play bounty hunters but if you have a mainly mandalorian build an aggressive strategy is good

Trying very hard to decide which faction to play. The Empire is hands down my favorite in-universe, but the CIS has my favorite character, General Grievous.

Been playing for about 3 months, its been fun! I play Empire and Rebels. Its alot of fun, glad to see more channels talking about Legion. Worth noting we are getting a balance update at the end of the month most likely covering Blizzard Force. Also, Rebels and CIS primarily use the same defense dice, however all Rebel Core units surge to defend so a 2/6 vs the 1/6 that b1s get.

Glad you’re enjoying the game - plan to cover this and few other miniature games more often! Absolutely, having Nimble means they can be more effective defensively too!

Got into this game a couple months ago with my brother. I started out with empire but found myself playing Rebels more lately... I like the Empire's aesthetic but i love how Rebels play

Shadow collective: Not many options (except for commander), Share Models, Elite Units, Big unit, Hero Heavy (4 Commanders, and 3 Operatives. Although 1 of the commanders is also a operative depending on the gear). Red/White Defense die (depending on the corp unit), Black Attack die. You only need 1 corp for skirmish and 2 for standard. You can get a commander and a corp in one (outside of the starter set) in the Pyke Syndicate expansion or the Black Sun Enforcers, that plus the thing before I said makes it easy to get a army for a cheap price.

I bought the clone wars core and feel obligated that I have to pick a fav and build that one...but I'm so in love with both of them and their options that I can't decide 😂 hopefully this vid can help

I know exactly the feeling 😂 there play styles are very much opposite ends - Republic are very elite units where droids are more swarm with lots of characters!

​@WoodyREC amazing video! I honestly love both so much, I'm thinking of building both and playing both, I used to play a ton of rebels when my buddy and I played a few years back. I'm sure overtime as I play them again and again I'll slowly find myself wanting to play one more often than the over 😂

@@dillonhansen3839 yeah I think because there aren’t many armies over time you’ll probably grab a bit of everything (like I did!) The droids were so annoying to build I gave up on them for a while, sat in a draw for a good year before I came back to them 😂

I’ve played legion for around 3 years now. My friends and I share all factions, minus some of the newer battleforces, and i have to preface this with I still love all of them. But GAR can be painful to play. Build variety with them on paper is great but in practice you either run around clone ball style for republic w 1 Jedi as a lynch pin. All other factions can be fun especially w new changes to the CIS. But if you’re starting out I’ll always recomend Rebels and Empire. Much easier to learn the rules as they are less gimmicky or particular in how they play! Hope this helps someone lol.

They did just announce a Rebel AT-ST piloted by Chewy!!! So now they will have a big heavy vehicle soon!

You might be able to play it on something like Tabletop Simulator on Steam, but in general no its physical only!
