The developer, KospY, has played around with the idea of multiplayer for a long time, but ultimately, co op would be the only way it could work, part of what makes hitting so satisfying is how enemies react when hit, you can't force a player reaction though.

Sawtooth44 yes! Although you can’t use their noble phantasms, the main like 7 weapons of F/SN are available, as well as Clarent from Apocrypha. Clarent ROCKS.
