Swish Sticks Great idea swish, I thought about doing that. Thanks for reminding me.

I bought this and Luke’s ROTJ legacy hilts last December and think they’re incredible. Obi-Wan’s is my favorite prequel hilt and like you said, has such a unique design and I like the light weight to it making the lightsaber feel more balanced and more comfortable when preforming lightsaber moves such as the Obi Anakin spin. The heavier hilts I tried using make my wrists ache after a while.

Great choice! Luke's green saber is my all-time favorite!! Obi-Wan's is definitely comfortable and has that great circular belt clip. We actually need to practice our saber spins/tricks. Good activity to do at home when we have to distance ourselves socially. 😆

Sutter Family Films I learned how to do a few tricks by slowing down the speed while watching fight scenes but there are also tutorials you can use to practice such as the Obi-Ani Spin: m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqOTq8Wzm9mygdI.html After mastering the trick, maybe try making a video of you and your son performing it with a light weight saber.

I love how you introduced the lightsaber. And that was an awesome visual effect with the holocron ! As well the voice over was near perfect ! Haha landon looks like hes learning about a peice of history. And the way it was articulated and presented was like it was a peice of history not just in the sense of the movie history but also like it is from a galaxy far far away ! Samuel Peck as always, you are too kind Sam. I actually love the design of old Ben’s saber a lot more as well! Who knows, maybe Disney will release new sabers this year or next. They did surprise everyone with Ben solo and the Ray re-forged!

Another excellent video from the Sutter boys! Watching your videos gets me pumped to watch Star Wars and plan a trip to Disneyland lol. I'll be keeping a lookout for that Comparison video because you guys will get well over 150 likes on this one.

I think I like the revenge of the Sith and A new Hope Obi-Wan lightsaber more, it looks cooler. But still cool, I saw a video way back where Ewan in episode 1 when they were shooting Phantom Menace where he got to pick his saber between that one, mauls, qui-gon, and more that we never saw.

Sutter Family Jedi I remember seeing footage on KZread where Ewan when they were shooting Phantom Menace where he was choosing his saber between maul, his, Qui-Gon, and other we had never seen before which is very interesting. You might be able to find it on KZread which is where I have found it.

Great review! Would love to get this one once the parks re open in I ever go again as the 2008 spring loaded phantom menace saber was the first Star Wars toy I ever got, very personal and nostalgic hilt for me

Totally! adding some behind the scenes was a great idea.

The footage of Ewan picking out his lightsaber is from the Phantom Menace documentary the beginning (if nobody’s mentioned this in the comments). This can be found on the DVD for Phantom Menace or (I believe) the prequel disc for the 2011 Blu-ray. It’s a very good documentary which is essentially a making of the Phantom Menace, Ewan is a complete badass in this whole documentary because he‘s very Scottish about everything 😜. He also talks about his relation to Star Wars in the grand scope of things as his uncle is Dennis Lawson (Wedge Antilles from the original trilogy).

Personally I didn't think Qui-Gon's was very cool looking. Obi-wan's hilt is very stylish looking.

Pretty cool Legacy Lightsaber. The Guardian from Ultrasabers is pretty sick as well even though it’s gigantic. Lol

is..... still unable to be in our videos. 😔 We have lots of older footage of us from Disneyland. I was thinking of starting a new channel called Sutter Family Travels. Do you think I should start a new channel?... or just make this channel a mix of Star Wars and Disney?

Aside from it being lighter, is there any difference between this one and Vader’s? I’ve heard the sound isn’t that good and that the blade is very loose, even when locked. What do you think?

For the Legacy sabers?? The Obi-Wan is lighter... and that little plastic "on" switch kind of bugs me. lol Vader is chunky and bulky, more heavy-duty. They are so different... you gotta pick the one that calls to you. Which one you gonna pick??

I have a question for you man. I just bought this one and I've noticed the emitter is kind of loose and wiggling. Have you had that same issue or is it just mine?

Hey Josh. Great question. It's actually completely normal!! In fact, staff at Galaxy's Edge tell guests that they were dinged that way, to absorb some of the "force" ha from light dueling. Turn on the saber, have fun, and don't think about the squeaking. haha

If you were gonna do a lot more lightsabers review then why not save all the money you usually spent to buy from Hasbro (force fx) and Disney (legacy) and buy from some home grown marketplace or other companies like saberforge, fx sabers, ultra sabers, kr sabers, those companies and saber smiths sell waaaaayyy better lightsabers with features common lightsabers never have Example: high-end and movie accurate sound, smooth-swing, which catches every of your movement, some may have crystal reveal! which with just a twist, you can open your hilt and display your lightsaber’s crystal to be seen Now I know what you are thinking, these companies sell uncommon lightsabers which is more expensive than mass produced ones, so they are really expensive, and sometimes you don’t know you should trust them, but here’s the thing, these saber smiths have love, care for the star wars films, they work hard, put everything into each of their lightsabers, and not hasbro, where they do that for money, well, not really, but still, why buy all of disney’s and hasbro’s lightsabers when you can try, please try and buy from other saber smiths, and see what’s true quality, I think THAT will help your channel grow more, if not, just compare the sabers from the companies i suggest with one of the mass produced ones, and there, you have another comparison ideas, anyways, please give them a try

Hi there I recently bought the obi wan legacy saber at Disneyland and I have noticed that the blade brightness is noticeably dimmer than the “REY” legacy saber, even with new batteries the obi wan saber is much dimmer, have you noticed this with your sabers?

Jonathan Kazarian Hey Jon. I just double checked myself... and you are right!! The Obi-Wan saber is a darker shade of blue then Rey!? So it is not as bright. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Just as long as the blade is not flickering different colors or turning off I don’t think it’s defective. Thank you so much for watching and the great question! Sutter Family Jedi I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it, it literally is half the brightness of the Rey saber and my Savi’s saber, the battery pack only puts out 3 volts all of my other legacy sabers all put out 4.5 volts, it uses the same battery pack as the Ventress sabers, I put one of the in the obi wan saber and it was nice and bright like all my other sabers.

Jonathan Kazarian Ohhh my gosh!!! 🤯 It was the first thing I did when I got home. I’m soooo glad you commented on our video!! I can’t believe it totally fixes the blade!! Except if I put the lower voltage battery pack from Obi-Wan into the Ventress saber, I think the blade gets darker...? 🤷🏼‍♂️
