Im so disappointed that Disney dont sell the jedi/sith tunic online! I feel like they are the perfect middle between cheaper costumes and high end custom made ones from etsy.

Yeah I agree, but after my recent online purchases I am skeptical about getting something I can't actually see and check out. The ones in Batuu are really nice.

I was planning on going to galaxy’s edge to get the Jedi costume and was wondering if I could wear it. But this video really helped with that so thank you.

Pan TV - Based on Sir James and others I have watch say if you keep the bounding at about 75% shouldn't have an issue.

Pretty much no masks/helmets. And no walking around with robes

@@GreenmanDave not to the same effect, exposed wires could be a rigged bomb, a round bottle with a cap on it looks too sci-fi to be a bomb, granted a bright orange tipped nerf gun also looks fake, but i could just paint a real gun to look fake

That would be cool for them to add, but the park is set to the new era. Meaning first order and resistance. If you're referring to Mando from the Mandalorian, then that wouldn't work because "The Mandalorian" series takes place after episode 6, before ep 7. I do wish they had both mid and new era themed things/characters like I the normal Disneyland.

Hey I was just at Galaxy's Edge last night for the first time. It's so amazing for star wars fans hope to see you there some time!

My wife and I bounded in Batuu Saturday the 14 in the evening. I had purchased the Jedi tunic and belt there in October. My wife also purchased the Rey belt at that time, and made her own Rey vest. She did her hair in a Rey bun, and carried her Rey Legacy saber. I had my Obi-Wan Legacy saber. Nobody bothered us and we had a great time hiding from Kylo Ren and the Stormtroopers while interacting with the inhabitants of Batuu. Can't wait to do it again, but our passes expired on the 15th, so I don't know how soon we ll be back. Plus we live in Fresno, so it's a bit of a drive for us. We really envy you folks that live in SoCal and can visit much easier and more often. Saw Sir James there Saturday the 14th dressed in his Jedi tunic as well and wielding his custom saber.

I'm really digging the Ben Solo saber might get it to add to my Obi wan and Luke sabers

This video is Aces. I actually think one of the coolest aspects of Galaxy's Edge is seeing other Fans Cosplay, and to see how creative folks get with their Jedi gear. Can't wait to go back when Resistance opens in Anaheim.

They do have actors walking around in costume so it would be kind of confusing if they allowed just to walk around in costume as well it would be kind of hard to differentiate the difference between actors and patrons

My notifications told me you replied to my comment about the limitations on Legacy Sabers one can buy in one visit but it wouldn't show me the reply. So was it limited to 2 of each saber or 2 sabers all together?

I always thought the Jedi tunic looks cooler without the robe anyway

will they add new hilt parts for Savi's work shop?

I think the no robes rule is to keep people from shoplifting, since it covers so much space and you could hide so much in it

I dont know there rules or guidelines over there never been

I’m hoping for Dooku’s and Quigon’s, maybe even Yoda’s, Obiwan’s 3rd saber (the thin neck), and a big stretch being Jaro Tapal’s blaster in half hilt. (A stretch since that’s from a Respawn game, but you never know)

I'm wondering about makeup. My friend wants to go as a Twi'lek. While it seems acceptable to wear lekku or at least a form of lekku hat, I don't know if it's acceptable to paint your face blue or green (or whatever other Twi'lek colour).

So it'd be safe to assume custom dark sabers would be a no since hilts can't have sharp edges and what not and the dark saber looks like a katana

Ben Solo saber? Why? Was anyone asking for this one? I would think, and hopefully they will sometime in the near future, release the Leia saber.

Did you make your Jedi belt or did you buy it from somewhere? I plan on dressing up to the Star Wars Celebration this year. I head to Savi’s on the 12th to build my saber and have my eyes on a tunic. But all the belts I’ve seen appear cheap. Can you provide any assistance on this? Your tunic and belts are on point my friend. 👌🏻

are you allowed to wear stormtrooper armor without a helmet?

In the last six months I’ve taken my BB-8 to Galaxy’s Edge 3 times. Mind you, it’s 2 1/2 times the size of the ones they sell at GE. On the third time security at GE said I was a distraction and told me to take it to my car. Then proceeded to take a picture of my annual pass. Ruined the rest of my day.

Yea security is always random like my last trip I'm wearing what i normally wear black tunic , belt and kylo scarf from the park with store bought cargo pants , running shoes and sunglasses on my head but this female security was on a power trip with me lol so I ignored her and reported her to s higher up

Yes, but metal pieces are preferable, especially if you are planning to get a pommel that can make a saber staff.

I think that the long robe thing is because it is a tripping hazard.

@@dadams106 I understand the purpose but it just feels like they're defeating the purpose of selling costumes there. People can just find better quality costumes online and go to star wars celebration events or conventions. Also Disney made marvel films where people swear and flip the bird.
