I didn't know that I was supposed to hate the prequels until 2012 or something. I remember being a child and a lot of people liked those movies, even though first one was always seen as mid. RoS was considered by some as the best sw movie ever. Also a lot of children liked Jar-Jar, which is really telling about which demographic hated him. I mean, she is borderline crying when Luke leaves after telling her the truth about their parentage, so I don't see how they "glossed over" it. The disgust in her voice, when Luke tells her Vader is his father, made it pretty clear how she felt about that. Not having a long, drawn out, scene of Leia talking about her feelings, doesn't mean it wasn't addressed. These people are just too low IQ to pick up on anything that isn't explicitly spelt out for them by the film.

Makes me sad that Andor is such a diamond in the rough. how does it have worse numbers than the acolyte?! It’s so good! I feel like discerning viewers had already written off Star Wars as idiotic drivel made for kids after the sequel trilogy was so bad, so when a sophisticated production with complex characters and good writing came along the only people left were a small handful of dedicated fans (who loved it) and a bunch of idiots who would rather watch “Ow my balls!”.

It’s like you’re a classroom teacher but instead of 20 kids you have 20 tv shows to review and critic. one show is acting terribly and you give it pointers in an attempt for positive change. Yet that’s wrong according to Disney shills.

36:16 This is honestly so telling… Writing quality means nothing to these people as long the content checks their own boxes for desired representation/diversity. Doesn’t it seem a bit selfish and narcissistic how many people require 1:1 self insert character in order to actually connect with a narrative? As if relating to any characters struggles and drama just isn’t a possibility? Pretty sad.

Everytime they keep mentioning actors who has been harassed in the past that isnt just star wars it feels like the list keeps growing. I will always remember one particular one with The Walking Dead. There was a kid actor who.. I think the character's name was Sam? His character was hated, with good reason, but the actor WAS A KID (back in season 6), and after a mid season finale and the return, the character did.. something bad, and the fans went to relentlessly attack him on social media for his character... a KID. People are nasty period, it's not star wars. This people sit in their bubble and think everything is against them... how many times do we have to listen to this over and over and rebuttle with the same things over and over?

I love how they keep making product but when they don't get praised for it they say "Oh the fandom is the problem". I really can't stand this whole rhetoric. The underlying idea is that minorities can't relate to white characters. Some of the biggest weebs on the planet are spanish speakers and black people. I want the racial identity activist to try and explain that to me. What exactly are they relating to in anime, which is 95% japanese people and maybe 4% white character and less than 1% black characters. And on the same point, what about white weebs? What do they relate to exactly, when the overwhelming majority of anime takes in a japanese school setting, something that's as unfamiliar to westerners as possible? And why do so many white people Riley, Huey and grand dad from The Boondocks, a show that's entirely black-centric.
