I really had zero hopes for this figure, but was strangely impressed when I opened him. Yes, he has Jango body limitations. But overall he was a surprise win for me and one of my favorite figures I have bought recently. I really loved all of the accessories. I don't know why, but mine doesn't have a problem standing at all!

You are very lucky, mine falls if you look at it wrong.

i forced mine into a kneeling pose just so i didnt have to worry about him falling

I think a lot of collectors who don’t know how to pose their figures immediately hate on something they haven’t taken the time to really handle. My Pre Vizsla stands just fine and barely falls over.

That doesn't excuse the fact that the articulation is awfully dated. No pinless joints, no butterfly joints, no separate neck joint, left and right hinges for pistol wielding hands, feet can't move up at all, zero ab crunch, arms can't go up past 90...

It's a 2017 (i think) body mould so the posing you can do won't be great at all.

I think it looks awesome and will go perfect with my s7 maul, so hyped to get this one

He looks incredible, 100x better than my custom Pre Viszla. But, I used the death watch mando body and 3D printed pieces from Etsy so I still am happy enough with my custom to not buy this

100% agree I have the figure and he simply won't stand up I'm going to just lean him against the back of my new bookcase once I get it and rearrange my black series figures. Although the figure look is incredible I really like it I just wish he would stand and wasn't on such an old body.

Copped the TVC one at comic con and it's an astounding figure lol I passed on the 6 inch bc i really don't like that jango mold - they used it for the maul commando fig which was also really disappointing

This was an easy skip for me once I knew it was going to reuse Jango's old mold. Such a shame. Do you think if they used the Death Watch Mando mold instead of this one, it could have solved many of this figure issues?

it definitely would've solved so many issues. all the issues are from the jango body. he would've sold out if they used the fleet commander body

it's much easier to make him stand if you bend his knnes

Mine wont stand either so .......... I just took some sand paper and sanded the crap out of his feet till they were flat and now he stands way better!

It’s horrible going to leave mine in the package, don’t understand why they would use this old mold when there is so many updated Mando molds to use the reason they make so many Mandos characters and they drop the ball on this one why Hasbro… Great review I think you should own some clear stands for these no standing characters. Great review tho…

Also why didn’t we get a softgoods shoulder cape?

3.75 vizla is way better except removable blade

There is so much wrong really. He shouldn’t even have hoses on the arms. Nor is he this bulky. The Death watch mando wouldve been PERFECT. He would have had a more "skinny“ look which is accurate to his appearance in Clone Wars similar to what they did with the CW Maul. They had the mold, they had the chest overlay. Only thing needed would’ve been different legs/feet, what they also did with the Mando Fleet Commander and could’ve used that mould with different paint. The Jetpack is way too oversized aswell, which wouldn’t have been the case with the newer mold. I don’t know why this is making me this angry but he was my most awaited figure tbh and this is what we got . I’ve got no other explanation to it rather than that they’ve sat out on this figure either or just did this so he is in line with the Mando Loyalist from the CW line which also used the old body. I hate Hasbro so much for messing this up.

I’m not gonna lie the face kind of looks like Travis Kelce.

While I still think he looks good, he could’ve been even better on an updated sculpt. It baffles me when Hasbro has much better sculpts they don’t have to do too much tooling for to get the extra mileage out of them. Articulation aside, I’d give him a 6/10, would’ve been an easy 10/10 had they used a better body. Hasbro, respectfully, let the old Jango sculpt die. There’s no need to be using a body that’s almost 10 years old for figures that are released alongside amazingly articulated figures like the new clones, Hera, etc.
