Star Wars Battlefront II Mods (PC) HD: Naboo: Assault on Theed | Alpha v.0.5.6 (Release 2)

This is the BRAND NEW, updated, second alpha release of Lorul1's huge 100v100 Naboo: Assault on Theed map, inspired by the Naboo: Theed Galactic Assault map from DICE's Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
Summary:
Naboo: Assault on Theed is the latest map from Battles of the Storm creator Lorul1, which attempts to cross the shear massive scale of his previous works with the layout and design of DICE's new Star Wars: Battlefront 2 map, Naboo: Theed. Despite not having personal access to the beta, Lorul1 has done a fairly accurate job in recreating the layout of the map and the gameplay aspects of flagship game mode, Galactic Assault. Command post placement is good for both sides, requiring minimal travel to get to the action. The unlimited reinforcements and countdown timer provide a refreshing new take on the classic SWBF2 formula.
Compared to the sides in the previous release, the units in this second alpha have been drastically upgraded, with brand new HD skins and models, courtesy of fellow modder Needo, that are much closer to those in the 2017 game. Classes include the Assault, Heavy, Officer and Specialist, with both sides now including TWO special reinforcement units each. The B2 Super Battle Droids and Clone Jump Troopers from the previous release remain, as well as new Wookiee Warrior units for the Republic (with a sexy new model) and B2-RP Jet Droids for the CIS.
The hero units have also undergone changes since the first alpha release, with Rey replacing Yoda for the Republic (cross-era, so it's accurate even if I don't like it) and an upgraded Darth Maul for the CIS, who is sporting a brand new model that goes with the overall aesthetic of the map. Both heroes are complete with brand new Force abilities such as Force Freeze and an upgraded, extremely effective, Force Push. Both hero models and textures look incredible, with the Rey model in particular having me longing for an update to Delta_1035's GCW II Mod.
This release is a good update on the previous release with plenty of new content to reflect on that improve both the map and the sides. There are still a few kinks to iron out including floating objects and some questionable AI pathing in some areas, but aside from that it's all looking really solid and I can't wait to see what else Lorul1 and co. have in store for us!
+ Lots of improvements on the previous release, including bug fixes, a buff to the sniper unit and addition of previously missing sounds
+ Amazing new HD skins and improved models
+ Two fantastic looking new hero units: Rey and Darth Maul. Both complete with new/revamped abilities (also a playable Iden Versio easter egg!)
- Still a few bugs present, but still a big improvement over the last release in this regard

I enjoy doing difficult in-game challenges, and I would like to challenge you to beat my record of 86 headshots in 1 life as a sniper. I always wondered how you upload these videos without any copyright infringements. A bunch of my older videos got blocked because of that shit and so I was forced to disable the music in the game, which really kills the mood in my opinion.

+BenniRoR Haha, sadly I don't. Half the reason my upload schedule went to shit was due to tons of my content being blocked worldwide, really killed my ambition to make more videos. Fortunately, things seem to be OK at the moment so at least my videos are available, even if I am making next to nothing off of them.
Needs alot of work but is pretty cool for the most part.

Does Heavy Class have Sentry Gun?
This looks cool but, how can it be fun if there isn't any pay to win lootbox system? I want a version where bots get clearly better stats unless the players pay real money for a CHANCE to get a version of the mod where we get the same stats.

It stinks you are not uploading currently but I can understand why and can relate to it. Real life gets in the way of KZread (unless you do it as a living) and leaves you so little time. After working the entire day you come home and do not really want to record videos since you are wiped out from a hard's day work. Whenever your next video comes I will certainly watch it but upload the next video WHEN YOU CAN NOT WHEN OTHERS WANT YOU TOO!

Don Fischer That's not how SWBF2 mods typically work. Unfortunately character models usually come as part of larger mods or maps such as this one.

Why pay 80 bucks for a pay to win game you can buy a 10 dollar game and experience a proper Star Wars tittle

Bloozbee ugh it’s not pay to win anymore. You can’t get the 2 rarest cards from boxes anymore. You have to earn them by playing the game. Sure whoever pays money is going to have an advantage but it’s barely anything
