Star Wars Battlefront II Mods (PC) HD: Duro: Orbital City | Galactic Civil War

This the brand new Duro: Orbital City 1.0 map by Dasher, an epic battle based on one of Duro's floating cities, much like those on Bespin.
Summary:
This map by Dasher attempts lots of different things, with an interesting and unique idea of having a floating settlement in the middle of the map where the ground battle occurs, which in turn is surrounded in the thick of a much larger space/sky battle. The map comes with support for Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War, but only one game mode which is, of course, Conquest. The sides have been slightly revamped for each faction, with a new units such as Imperial Support, Medics and Captains, as well as the SpecForce Urban Specialist class for the Rebels. The new models and skins on the sides looking very nice and coherent between units. The Imperial Medic in particular looks like a great upgrade on the old Officer skin with the new backpack and visor on the helmet. Overall the map is well put together and very coherent, the city itself feels lived in and full of cool little details. Unfortunately, the city itself is extremely small -- so small it's more of a floating outpost. As a result, the command posts are very close together and so the matches don't last long, as you can see in the first part of the video. The space battle portion of the map is overall pretty good, although the autoturrets seem a little OP and seem to easily swat you out of the sky within a matter of seconds. All in all, the map is visually appealing and has all the makings of being a great map!
Pros:
+ The map is visually beautiful to look at
+ The attention to detail is fantastic and encourages the player to explore all that the map has to offer
+ A solid map design which makes for some fun gameplay on the ground and in space
+ New skins and units for each of the 4 factions as well as new weapons
Cons:
- Matches are incredibly short due to the small nature of the city
- Easy to die in space combat due to powerful autoturrets
Final Rating: 7/10

My star wars battlefront 2 v1.0 can play mod?
The latest version has space combat now? I remember playing only the ground combat. IMO the space combat kind of kills the intensity of the fight, as it makes the fight less focused with the space going on too.

Certainly does. To be honest, the ground/space battle dynamic actually is what made me check it out haha. It's fun to play, but has very little impact on the overall battle - you can still win the match by staying on the ground the entire time.

What about the AI? Do most of them went into space or stay in ground?
I imagine you had to re-download the unofficial patch due to the update that brought back the multiplayer servers, so I have to ask: how are you still able to have the original HUD? I thought any version of the unofficial patch past 1.2 no longer even had an OPTION to revert back to original HUD.

+Cindy Williford I've overwritten the multi-player patch files by re-installing the original v1.3 patch. Can't play multiplayer but got to keep the old HUD lol.

Could you perhaps make a guide on how to do this? I ended up uninstalling my steam version of the game last month when the patch came out. it had pissed me off, lol. I had just gotten into BF2 modding thanks to your videos, and then this patch comes out and ruins my game. I’m trying now to figure out how to get my game and mods back to the way I was enjoying it, but I really have no expertise when it comes to messing with game files. So if you could make a guide about how to do that I’d appreciate it :)
