unless they scraped their current one, I'm afraid there will not be any "chilling". SW lore is big enough to make lootboxes cosmetic only and it would be much better received.

"Working to improve the lootcrates" hahahahahaha Because loot boxes are a hallmark feature of video games that everyone is always excited about. If they were *trying to*, they would get rid of them altogether. This was their plan from the start; to put the worst version of their scheme up front first, then get you to accept this slightly less shitty version and think of it as "listening to feedback." I'm aware that this is probably satire. I really hope it is.
