Crazy how they didn't get nominations for costume, hair and makeup, soundtrack, sound, art direction and visual effects. Unbelievable. You might not like he script, the direction or the performances, but you cannot deny how artistic these films were. The other nominees and other films that were not nominated were great, but the prequels were definitely top 5 in those categories.

The first story arc is "Age of Republic arc", which focused on the story of Anakin Skywalker!!! The second story arc is "Age of Rebellion arc", which focused on the story of Luke Skywalker!!! And the third and final story arc is "Age of Resistance arc", which focused on the story of Rey Skywalker!!! And now, the jedi, the Padawan, the heroes and villains, the sith, the empire, the republic and other legendary warriors was perfect!!! And i found that so many easter egg hunt for every characters of Star Wars in every story arcs of Star Wars history!! So, Star Wars and Disney must be win the Oscar's awards ceremony!!! Because the Magic of Disney and Lucasfilm, and along with the Jedi, the Padawans and the Resistance will NEVER GIVE UP ✨️!!!! May the fourth be with you, always!!!! Til' the Spires!!!!

Oh, don't try to cozy up to Star Wars NOW, Academy! You could've given either Best Directing or Best Picture to it back in '77, but NOOOOO, you decided to give BOTH to Woody Allen. Then you could've made up for it when with The Empire Strikes Back, the best film of all time....but NO! You didn't even NOMINATE it. Best Picture, Directing? Nada. Hell, you awarded Best Screenplay to fricking "Melvin and Howard", and we all know how quotable and iconic that film is....uh, right? John Williams. The Imperial March. Ever heard it? You just hummed it right now, didn't you? Huh, too bad you didn't give it the Oscar back in the '81 ceremony cuz you were too busy awarding the score, the SCORE not the songs, to Fame. FAME. You suck, Oscars. You don't get to pretend you appreciate Star Wars now, long after the actual film achievements have passed. Go award some 2-person character drama released in 5 theaters on December 20th that nobody saw but Harvey Weinstein paid millions of dollars to campaign and win Oscars for. That's more your style.

While Star Wars won a lot of Oscar awards initially, I don't think any movie ever won best film and none have won any Oscars in decades. I believe all of the Oscar wins were with the first three films: A New Hope (won the most), The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.

Let's be honest, A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back are the true "great" movies of this franchise. Everything else in that franchise has been coasting on those two movies' greatness. The last best star wars era was before the prequels.

Lucasfilm only allows clips from the redone versions except in the case of the documentary light and magic, or Rogue One. the cgi version is garbage they literally showed it when they were interviewing Marcia Lucas, she didn't edit the Special Edition.

Star Wars is garbage now. The first three were the only real good ones. And the best of them all is EST.
