What I like about the Andor series and Rogue One is that it is the Star Wars that doesn't rely on laser swords and magical powers but rather good acting and good writting to tell a compelling story.

Tony Gilroy - thank goodness he found a way to create this awesome content.

I appreciate it isn't a 1-off series like Kenobi but did I ever wish it was more. It's just so good.

Actually the first thing I've been excited about SW wise in a long time. MTFBWY

Only problem with Cassian going to see Ben means to many people know of his existence and his whereabouts! Obi-Wan has been careful to stay off the Empire's radar. He's been off planet the once in the series, and I don't want to see him jeopardize himself again. Wonder if we will learn if Luthen is a former Jedi? It would be epic if he meets and battles Darth Vader.

It doesn't necessarily mean many people know. Bale Organa knows, and he is likely to be in the second season as well.

Andor and Hayden Christensen using Form V against Ahsoka in the world between worlds were the best two things Star Wars since Rogue One. Looking forward to it ;-)

If Kenobi does show in Andor Season 2, the make up department will need to age Ewan McGregor to appear more like Sir Alec Guinness to have him realistically look older by the beginning of A New Hope.

Whitening and shortening his hair would achieve the vast majority of that and trimming up his beard as Sir Alec's Obi Wan was well groomed compared to Ewans.

I believe at the start of season 2 it is still several years before A New Hope, with each episode having a time jump of 1 year. They will still need to do a fair amount of adding regardless, but at least a few years separation would give them some room for him to not have to look exactly like Sir Alec Guinness

No jedi in this series please. That's what made the first season so great.

Obi Kenobi & Andor To Meet & Have a Conversation Would Be AWESOME !!!!!!

I’d love kenobi to be in there for a cameo but if they do they need to age him a little in the timeline we’re in he should be looking a lot like Alec Guinness so yeah!!! But I’m excited to see Vader and hopefully the emperor in the finale

i Have always said Hans Solo must of known of the Rebellion and may of even been part of it before the New Hope time line happened

Over time, I began to think Andor was more of an experimental type of series. Many episodes were dialogue heavy where, I felt, I waited for an eternity for the build up to end. Conversely, the prison break episode was the intense action-drama the talented cast deserved.

Can't get enough Kenobi. Looking forward to Andor 2.

I doubt if Obi Wan will show up in the second season of Andor. They would have to age him up a lot. Keep in mind, this is the timeline of A New Hope when Obi Wan is much older. It's possible we could see a fews clones. Maybe even a slightly older Omega.

Pretty sure Luthen is a Jedi….. his friends died 7 years prior. He uses the weapons of his enemies… I think the crystal he gave Andor was his and his walking stick is a ruse. He’s gonna bust out that saber at some point and totally wreck with it.

No Force weilders except a cameo from Vader. That is one the the main reasons both Rogue 1 and Andor season 1 were so great. If Ahsoka is included then it should be the teen version not Rosario Dawson.

Why season so short?

A cameo of obi won would be nice but it makes to much clutter all these images and leaks if true will clutter up the already short story

No. No no no. There should be absolutely NO cameo appearances by Vader or Obi-wan. What made the first season so great is that Gilroy was on record as steadfastly avoiding such "fan service." That said, if anyone COULD pull it off in a realistic manner, it would be Gilroy. But I really hope there are not anywhere NEAR as many cameos in it as you mention. Bail Organa would make sense, but the others no.

Not too bad, then. Andor will finish up the era between Revenge & New Hope. We'll get the Mandalorian movie & at least one more season of Aksoka to finish off the era between Return of the Jedi & Force Awakens & we have the Acolyte starting us off on the Old Republic stuff.

I did like rogue one a lot that was so promising where Star Wars was going and season 1 and 2 of mandalorian but I’m not excited for Disney Star Wars

Yes, it's been known since the start of season 1 that we would only get 2 seasons. Before season 1 finished filming there was talk of it having a greater number of seasons, but before the series even premiered on Disney+ they said that they had settled in 2 seasons. There will be several time jumps in season 2 to account for this. Besides, if they did any more, Diego Luna would start to look too different in the series finale compared to his youthful appearance in Rogue One which picks up exactly after the series finale ends. He would also sound too different. He's already lost most of the accent he has in Rogue One when he was first learning English - in a couple more years, there won't even be a trace of the accent left, and that would be really strange to see him go from speaking with a perfect American accent at the finale to suddenly having a noticable Mexican accent a few seconds later at the start of Rogue One. So it's for the best
