i think the scenes with thrawn might the the flashbacks there is a young Ahsoka as well as rosario Ahsoka, so I think trailer messes with us, Thrawn and Ezra are dead, they cant survive in space without a suit and so the logical part must be that those scenes are from the young ahsoka, before Ezra committed self deletion to get rid of thrawn

@@Belnick6666 They wouldn't cast an actor for both Ezra(Eman Esfandi) and Thrawn(Lars Mikkelsen) if they're just going to be dead all this time. Plus the movie that combines all the shows

@@ChaoThing its too convoluted and daunting of a task to take on. Rebels is set before and maybe during the original trilogy. If Ahsoka is taking place after the OG trilogy and is in the same timeline as Mandalorian then i dont think it matters.

The first season of Rebels was kinda kiddy and fluffy, but starting with the second season (and beyond) the show gave us some of the best additions to the Star Wars mythos and canon that I've ever seen.

Ray Stevenson of "Rome", " Thor", "Vikings" and as you said "RRR" fame, wields the red lightsaber here. He is a great actor, and personally I think he did his best work in "Rome", because he got the time to shine. Let's see what he can do in "Ahsoka."

Without spoiling anything: Ahsoka Tano was Anakin Skywalker's apprentice. She arguably knew him better than anyone save for Padme or Obi-Wan. She fought all throughout the Clone Wars before deciding to leave the Jedi Order just before Order 66. This new series is set roughly 5 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, with the main antagonist being Grand Admiral Thrawn, who is beloved across the Star Wars Fandom as perhaps one of the greatest villains in the entire franchise and was originally introduced in the book Heir To The Empire published in 1991 by Timothy Zahn. Suffice to say that this series has extremely high expectations. You should definitely give it a try. Personally I think it may outstrip even The Mandalorian.

for people who have seen rebels and are absolutely in love with these characters, this trailer is tearful of joy for us.

bro nothing against the films or live action series but they are a shit compared to rebels and specially clone wars. (Andor and Mandolorian are pretty good) but the animated series are the real good stuff

As a life long fan Star Wars has had it's ups and downs but recently it feels like especially in the series it's coming back strong and I just asked myself where is the same passion for the big screen movies please give me a good movie.

Sabine was looking at a Hologram of Ezra in the trailer. Zeb is probably too expensive for the show, but will maybe be in Dave's movie instead with Kallus, and Hondo needs to make a live action apperance too at some point, and also, Temeura as Rex is coming too.

Ahsoka in Clone Wars…. Has the coolest fight sequences and Dave Filoni would create her with George Lucas, nailed this trailer of Ashoka’s animated choreography. Was SCREAMING OMG OMG OMG. she falls from glass that high fighting in order 66. She’s the best. I think she’s talking to Anakin.

This is actually the continuation and live action version of Star Wars rebels.

For you to understand this series well you need to go watch Rebels animated series especially from season 4-5 then you'll know why die hard star wars fan are geekin for this

You have no idea how much this series means to Rebels fans. Also, this is inspired by Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy novel series. The line "...Heir To The Empire" is a direct reference to the first book of the same name. One of the best novels ever before it was demoted to Legends. Thankfully, Dave brought the Thrawn cahracter back to Rebels. THIS IS PURE HYPE. Also, it's said Anakin will come back as a Force ghost, which is gonna make it even more hype!

Anakin and Ahsoka will fight/talk on mustafar in a what if world between worlds scenario, and the 2 dark jedi are Shin, the girl, and Baylan, the old guy, with the inquisitor looking person probably being barriss offee.

Good Reaction. I agree with your thoughts, Jaby. Ray Stevenson is the guy you're thinking of. He plays Baylan Skoll, a Dark Jedi. Yes, Morgan Elsbeth is back...she was only arrested by Ahsoka, not executed. My guess is, all of The Mandoverse will be PG-13/TV-14 level in terms of adult themes and depictions of violence...a few heads will roll, like they have in Star Wars, since 1980. Enjoy India. For me personally when it comes to StarWars Series it is: Best Live-Action: Andor Best Animated: Rebels So I am obviously very hyped for this BUT also very scared because I think it will be very hard to catch that Rebels Feeling again, especially in live action where you are still limited in what you can do, even with CGI as some stuff they did in Rebels would simply not look right in Live Action. I am also a bit concerned by the EXTREMELY serious tone of this trailer. I mean, I also like good serious shows (as seen by Andor) BUT I do think Rebels was also special because they allowed for some humor which helped (at least for me) the characters a lot and especially their bond (which I think is still untouched in any other StarWars Project). I just hope they haven't unlearned the clever humor they put into Rebels (especially later seasons) which made it such a joy to watch

The reasons I like Rebels so much are: - World Building - Characters (and their interactions) - Continues Story - Lighter tone (not everything has to be Andor Level of Serious) - Great Script (What I mean by that are mainly parts like Setup and Payoff, other parts of the script are more subjective but I like most of them too) The most important parts are the first two. If you look hard enough there is a lot of world building in Rebels, so much that right now Rebels has more context for Rogue One than even it's own prequel, Andor (although that will probably change with Andor Season 2). It also has A LOT of world building for Andor itself (as it plays at the same time) and a lot of "world building" for the force itself. It is, by the way, actually interesting how many ideas were taken from Rebels for other StarWars projects. In my opinion the Ghost Crew (especially taken together) are some of the best characters created during Disney StarWars (for me personally even in all of StarWars, but that is very subjective). Even better: They switch up combinations of them and their dynamics in almost every episode which keeps their interactions very fresh over the whole series. At the end of the day it of course always depends on what style of show you like 😉 (Btw, this is not nostalgia kicking in as I have only watched Rebels about a year ago)
