This movie is still in development and will be relased AFTER Star Wars Episide X. At the earliest, you're looking at a 2027 release date. Expect this story to continue in The Mandalorian Season 4 and/or Ahsoka Season 2, both of which should be released before Filoni's movie. He was wise, self-disciplined, fearless, unselfish, could see things another way and most of all he helped people, he gave people hope and strength when the empire made them suffer, he sacrificed himself to save his love and his family and that sacrifice leaded to the freedom of Lothal and within time his sacrifice eventually rewarded Hera with young Jacon.

I was about to take a nap but I checked my notifications first and saw your reaction was up. You gals' enthusiasm perked me up so much I don't need a nap. Shame we didn't get any Gonks but hell this season was full of so much that I really can't complain. Either in season 2 or in the Filoni movie I hope they re-cast an actor like the one from the movie "300", Gerard Butler because I believe he would come close to having Ray Stevenson's screen presence. When Filoni first wrote Ahsoka it was assumed he would have 2 seasons so he wrote it in such a way that some of open questions would be answered in s4 of Mando or s2 of Ahsoka, with Disney stay tuned.

If you notice they have panels with lights on them and Ezra said that Thrawn woke the 3 sisters up. So he likely just took them out of hibernation.

@@remoterebels2 I am thinking hundreds of Night sisters. Far more than existed during the Clone Wars before Grievous wiped them out.

The boxes could be generations of witches, just waiting to be awoken (such as Thrawn did for the Great Mothers), to repopulate Dathomir. Maybe the price he paid for their help was transporting all of them to Dathomir for that purpose. He got home - and they get to reestablish Dathomir.

Great season finale,music was perfect and that last shot of Baylan was majestic.I did feel bad for Morgan,she finally gets a power up and then she dies :( I thought we might see Zeb,but seeing force ghost Anakin was even better,I hope Ashoka learns to comunicate with him :)

@@RemoteRebels you and me both. Kanan is my favourite Jedi. He overcame so much and in doing so, proved just how wrong the Jedi Order was on so many fronts, but specifically the relationship issue. Imagine how different Anakin and Padme's story would have been if they had been allowed to marry?

Edith, you've read the Heir to the Empire trilogy, right? Shadows in the Starlight is a reference to Abeloth, the mother (of the trinity). Anakin was always destined to be the father, the balance. Ahsoka has the daughter's spirit. No clue who the son is.

I really liked this episode, I saw this twice yesterday (02:00 & 09:15). I don’t really understand the complaints for this episode and season finale, mainly because as of now Dave is world building and he’s also expanding the lore at the same time, no complaints from this fan. What I do find concerning, however, is how they are going to address Baylan going forward, I suggested to a friend, maybe a graphic novel, personally I wouldn’t be too hot on a recast. So when I watch this episode for a second time, I actually watched the whole series again all the way through from start to finish, it’s definitely worth a second watch if you asked me personally. So when I saw the blade of Talzin I thought it was the same blade that she used to fight Mace Windu in TCW with Jar Jar saving his queen crush, oh boy. I don’t think it’s the last time we’ve seen the blade either. In terms of the Nightsister pledge, I think it’s the same thing that Mother Talzin said to Ventress when she comes back into the fold after being betrayed by Count Dooku. I really like how we’re going to be expanding the Mortis gods, this is going to be absolutely incredible. Seeing Ezra “reconstructing” Kanan/Caleb’s Lightsaber was pretty cool, definitely looking forward to seeing him train Jacen (potentially in the future). I think we may finally see (long-term) Ahsoka formally recognised as the force daughter, maybe we can also get a conversation between Sabine and Anakin. My mate said to me if season two does happen (I tend to agree with this) it’s going to be a cameo fest, I can’t even complain if that ends up being the case. In the long-term in relation to Sabine, with her having a direct connection to house Vizla as clan. Wren was an ally of the house, she may be the next Tar, that said, I’m also wondering where Grogu is going to fit into this if you want to talk about wider implications into this universe. The resurrection/resurgence of the Nightsister clan is absolutely amazing, maybe Mother Talzin will get resurrected somehow because at this point is anybody really gone from a certain point of view? I still want my Kanan/Caleb force ghost conversation with Jacen and Ezra. Not to mention the fact that I’d also like to see living force ghost crew reunion. I have enough trust in Dave at this point, that he knows what he’s doing, everything he does when he is spearheading a project he does for a reason, it’s just we can’t see it as fans right now. Something of note, you do see Ahsoka with the Shoto blade on her hip even after it’s been damaged during her fight with Morgan. Thrawn can see getting reintroduced in Mando season four, I’d have no complaints with this, especially if at this point forward if it’s a lot of set up for Dave‘s movie. The only confirmed Star Wars projects I’m looking forward to the course of next year will be the final season for bad batch and tales of the Jedi S2. I think the Mortis Gods story line is going to be so fun to learn more about whether it is in S2 or a movie. Someone said that movie probably won't even come out until 2027 so I'm thinking we will get a season 2 and I agree it will be a cameo fest and I hope one of them is my man HONDO!! He is such a hoot. And yeah since they brought that little secret circle meeting with Hux and Gideon and all them discussing Thrawns return I imagine it will all tie in together and I'm here for all of this. @@remoterebels2 thanks I really appreciate it, what can I say when it comes to Star Wars in general I have a lot to say apparently (see original comment and previous comments on previous videos 🤣). I was annoyed we didn’t get to see Hondo in Mando season three, it would’ve been really funny if he bumped into Zeb “ Hey you purple guy” 🤣😜 Hux Sr will probably lose his mind, I’m not the biggest sequel era fan in the world, Hux Jr it’s like whatever, but I enjoy the foreshadowing for the most part. Dave‘s movie isn’t going to be something that Dave isn’t gonna wanna rush, and we’ve still got a lot of Star Wars content for the next 12 months at the very least, regardless of who’s watching what. I mean, you’ve got skeleton crew, bad batch the final season and tales of the Jedi S3, more than enough content to spread over the course of 12 months. Then 2025 would probably be Mando S4, you could probably have Ahsoka S2 in that timeframe but 2026 would probably be more likely. In terms of a release year for Dave‘s movie you could do it in 2027 at a push, but I’d say 2028 at this point due to all the strikes that have been happening. I mean, nobody saw the unfortunate passing of Ray Stevenson coming, so Dave is going to creatively write something that services Ray’s contribution from a live action, prospective while not giving Ray a disservice, I don’t envy him in that regard at all. I’m just really happy, ultimately in terms of the story that Dave is crafting/spearheading, I just want him to take his time ultimately. Even if we get more animated stuff, I’m totally down, I actually prefer animation as a preference anyway to live action but that’s just me .

Right!! I need to know more about the Mortis Gods!! I love that they are going to explain all of this because in the CW it is a little confusing. Love this show and can't wait until next time.

Thrawn is a user. Married and divorced one…when I was watching this episode…I was hollering and sobbing at all the same spots! Thinking series will be in 2 parts with the Mortis Gods coming into play while the other group(maybe with Zeb) fights Thrawn. I’m thinking it destabilizes the New Republic so much it was easy to fall into the clutches of the New Order…..your thoughts, my dearies!?

Right!! Looks like Hera, Ezra and Zeb will have to handle Thrawn all over again. I can't wait to see where they take the night sisters. If they bring back Ventress we will lose our minds. This series will get multiple watches from us from start to finish. The light saber fights were some of the best I've ever seen!! Can't wait until next time my friend!! I apologize for being too critical but wait, no I don't apologize for being too critical! This is the way I was born, I inherited it from my gran and by jove, I *will* criticize! First and foremost, I am utterly appalled that they completely glossed over Sabine's crimes. Ahsoka simply smiled them off and they never even bothered to have her confess to Ezra that she betrayed all his work and everything their group stood for and enabled the return of the empire out of sheer selfishness. This crime is worse than what they did to poor Boba Fett on his own show. Anyhow, I thought it was a neat episode, I wonder if all the Baylan stuff we're seeing is what they *intended* to show, or if they cut a lot of it out in editing to justify Ray Stevenson not showing up next season, because it was very, very bogus what he was doing. The one thing I did not like at all this season (apart from Sabine) is that, and I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly but... they pretty much kill all the suspense they create almost immediately. Just to name a few: "Oh no they already jumped to wherever they were going and we got left behind without a clue > no wait these whales can take us there no problem" "Oh no they took out our ship, now we've little to no chance of getting there on time > nevermind we got there on time riding our Rodents of Unusual Size" Not to be cruel but they could've killed a few of the crab people (walk like crab, taste like people) for gravitas, it's quite surreal even for a galaxy far, far away that they'd get attacked so much and not a one was even hurt bad. Like, everything felt too easy. I'm not sure if there'll be a season two or if Thrawn will be wrapped up in the upcoming movie, but I sure hope there's some serious action with all the characters. Holy hell I think this is the longest youtube comment I've ever posted. Sure hope you ladies do something in between the next Star Wars thing that comes out!

I have to say you are so much fun! and never apologize for being you. We love you exactly how you are and never want you to change. I can't remember if I told you this but Edith and I call you Charlie all the time because we think you are Charlie Hopkins on KZread that does the reacts as Obi Wan and Anakin and Qui Gonn. I really feel like they will have a season 2 of this show but then wrap it up in Dave's movie. Would make sense. I think they will need to give us a little more before a movie though. I was wondering the same about Ray. What a loss. I absolutely love him as an actor as well as the amazing Baylan character. I bet they did cut some stuff. I'm sure we will have some trailers soon and they usually spin something up come January for us!! Thank you so much for supporting us and making me smile and laugh every week.

Anyway yes please call me anything but watson, I think I got the name using a random generator thingy. Don't be strangers now, at least give us like... monthly updates or something. Anybody who loves Disney Star Wars is pathetic and thirsty also is a traitor to George Lucas and his work that he's created. I only love George Lucas Star Wars, not Disney star wars. Any Disney Star Wars fan I encounter with. I will ridicule them, Shame them, and whatever negative I can say. It was Disney that backstabbed George Lucas. It was Disney that trashed George Lucas's vision and version of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

I feel Baylen is the greater threat so prolly good Ahsoka got left behind
