You know, that's a nice little moment that could have stayed in the episode. Shows emotional maturity.

This doesn't even feel like an intake, it feels like a section of the scene deleted for reasons.

Definitely should have been part of the show.

Ok, I refuse to believe that Riker and Picard didn't unironically say I love you at some point in the series, they've been bros for far too long.

(It's the lines at the very end. They weren't in the episode.)

As much as Patrick didnt want a reunion when he signed up for PIC. The best episodes in S1 included Troi and Riker. S2`s direction without them really showed and low and behold S3 was a reunion. S3 is so good i dont know how many times ive rewatched it.

Even aside from the reunion elements (although I did love those), this ep is critical to s1 just for being a _rest._ It eases the pacing.

@@shaundis2117 yeah, what made TNG great was its ensemble. Patrick Stewart’s a great actor, don’t get me wrong, but he can’t hold a Star Trek series by himself.

In tng Riker always gets super agitated when something might endanger Picard. Not just like "oh this might be risky" but like "no! I will not let anything endanger the captain!" It's always been a professional bromance.

This was so sweet.

"Picard" made me cry over the whole Q thingy alright. THIS one here however would have had the potential to make me forget all the sins that have been made. I will share a secret here. The lazy Riker beard still looks dope as shiz. (Frakes is like Paul Rudd) EDIT: It's an old code but it checks. Lazy Riker is my new jam.

Seems to be a trend of things being cut as "deleted scenes" that could have been in shows/movies and made them better for it.
