@@Sindraug25​​⁠the video clip used after the intake section was a repeat of the clip used before the section, the audio used was correct though. It was only ‘obvious’ when data’s mouth was still moving when Picard was speaking. I am conflicted though because that was an intake of an intake should it have been replaced…. Probably a question best left to saints and philosophers. I'm neither competent nor qualified to answer

Presumably the INtake here is the cardboard cutout of Patrick Stewart standing in for Captain Picard in the first shot.

It's interesting to see the seams in Data's uniform. I wonder what happened there... assuming the 525/60 (effective 480i) wouldn't show it back then? Reminds me of the coffee stain on Spock's shirt, didn't show up back then, but when they upscaled/cleaned up the original... there it is.

You're probably right! And not only the vertical seams, but also the 'darts' (short little horizontal seams) as well. That's a lot of tailoring for what seems like a fairly simple jacket. It's interesting that his jacket is full of front seams, but nobody else's are.

Watch the background of Next Gen episodes. You'll frequently see things taped to the walls to prevent light from reflecting into the camera. You can also often spot black tape on the floor for the actors to hit their marks.

It was shocking seeing the blu-ray cleaned-up versions, being able to see the seams that weren't visible before (or as noticeable).

I think this is only seen in season 3 episodes. I can't remember seeing this from season 4. Perhaps because they're new uniforms from this season?

My best guess is some last minute alterations for fit, but I don't know nothin about tailoring...

The fact that they are neutral weakly interacting particles aside there is no way Geordie's visor could detect neutrinos unless they hit his visor.
