Can just imagine the conversation between engineers and higher ups for the akira... Engineer: Sleek design, fast, maneuverable, strong defensive capabilities, etc. Starfleet: Slap a weapons pod on that bad boy! Engineer: How many torpedoes would you like it to fire in a single volley? Starfleet: ALL OF THEM.

That was so ridiculous 😂 they could have easily used a sphere for that battle it would have been much more plausible
