These are really nice animations. I’ve always thought the paint, the arabian and the haflinger have the nicest anims. No objection at all to them being reused.

Not to mention SSO have made so many different breeds like it would be almost impossible to make unique gaits for absolutely every breed

To all the people saying they look this similar irl, no.. they really dont. Plenty of major differences that you guys somehow managed to group together.

The amount of ppl saying they look identical….like they’re horses you dingus how else do you want them to move, I love recycled gaits of horses I like

the animations are obviously different and thus redone if you look for more than just a second. theres really only so many ways that horses of the same build can move. tbh id probably go insane if i had to animate the same thing over and over again LOL. the only animation that caught me off guard was the idle where it tips its head down but its really cute so i cant really be mad haha

Must be hard for the team to come up with new animations for every horse since horses kinda moves similar to each other. It’s just so much you can do differently and I think they are doing a really good job at that, tbh ☺️

Halflinger is more collected and Dartmoor is more extended. They move similar irl so I have no complaints 🤷‍♀️

Tbh yes they are similar but in some gaits you can tell them apart almost instantly. And I’m real life they look similar as well so if some of the community calm the funions down and look at irl reverences then they would realize they did a fantastic job in them because both breeds are so similar irl.🤦🏼‍♀️

I know…I tried to encourage them to look and read my essay with added drawings and pictures I created but they just responded saying that they would consider giving the info to the GM team.

There are also gaited and non-gaited horses. They move very differently non-gaited horses are horses such as quarter horses, thorough breds, and most draft breeds. Whereas horses like Tennessee walkers, fox trotters, and halflingers are gated. They move very differently and naturally move this way. Unfortunately, the horses in this video do not move very similarly to how the actual horses move. They move at a faster speed in general and tend to not lope, canter, or gallop because it is harder. I am not saying they DONT and it is not necessarily uncommon but it isn't as often or as well done as a non-gaited horse. There are many differences that I haven't mentioned such as the headset but just understand, all horses are NOT the same.
