I do not think so. This episode alone highlighted how her sacrifice wasn’t in vain. And, no spoilers, we’ll get to see more of her influence on the story in both this season and the next.

Wait until the end of the season at the least to see all the consequences of this fight. If you still feel this way then I completely understand but one should wait for all the facts though I do understand the knee-jerk response.

Not knowing that is so mind-blowingly stupid.

Until the end, Star give a big hit to Shigaraki&AFO eliminating a lot of his Quirks and to the same time, dont permit to use the New Order, so his mission was a complete failure to get New Order.

RIP Cathleen Bate/Star and Stripe, for a brief moment you surpassed All Might as both a hero and a symbol.

I get the disappointment, but even when then these events were happening in the manga, I fail to see anything “bad” about this. There was potential for this to go in other directions, but I think the way Horikoshi took this was written well for what it was. Also, aside from how highlighted her influence was in this episode alone, I had assumed that her fight with Shigaraki, specifically in the vestige world, was leading up to something later down the line in the story. And without spoiling, I’ll just say that I was right.

Don't get me wrong, she was definitely given the best and most positive scenes at MHA. It is a real shame that she was only able to make a few appearances, but the week she risked her life to make is the week she will save the world.

I also shouted. "A week!?!?!?"

Well, AFO intercepted her Before she met izuku bc the 2 of them with their alter would have been to much for him to handle. The whole point was that she shouldn't met with the heroes of Japan, if so it was game over for AFO. On the other hand if he had succeeded in taking New Order it would have been game over for the heroes. Things is, you can't keep a good guy with op powers too long in a story (aside the mc) xD But she was really cool😎

Sad she was wasted potential but she left a nice impression and she only had 3 episodes of screentime (those who read the manga, we expected this). Regardless, it was nice seeing Star animated and she went ham on Shiggy. It was beautiful

Well that wasn’t really her complete part in the story though. I won’t spoil anything but the relationship she had with her team was not highlighted for nothing…

@@DefinitivelyZach And apparantly the bonus material in the manga revealed that Shiggy later stole a hyper regen quirk from another Nomu so any damage she did was undone so her death was pointless in the end.
