like a classic western ending, right down to the heroes going off into the sunset, and the music gets me every time

One of my favorite endings of all time. I always liked the part where Fox and his team are running and then you see the Great Fox gradually rising to the sky.

Rick May did almost a 3rd of all the voice acting in this game. The intro voice, the general, Peppy, Andros, half of Star Wolf, and possibly more. Rip this legend

David White played General Pepper. And Rick May did not play anyone from Star Wolf. Still a great actor though.

It wasn’t Rick who voiced the narrator. He was voiced by Jay Green, who also voiced everyone’s favorite lizard boy.

The version without the terrifying poor jpeg of Andross at the end.

i layed my controler down and watched it and i kinda hasetly grabbed it when that came like OMG i need to do something xDD

Like any good Sci-fi show, the starship that carries the crew is just as important a character as any of the human/animal cast. It's not just their transportation it's their hone, protector & life giver. The Great Fox REALLY lives upto it's name in this scene.

Goodbye and RIP Rick May. You will always be our Peppy Hare. Do a Barrel Roll to get into heaven for us!

this is the first video game I put significant hours into. I loved it. starfox as a title never lived up the standard this game set

The Star Fox team running in a group definitely reminds you something from Chariots of Fire.

I always like the part 3:32 to 4:07 when Great Fox flies by. Well, the speed of it going Star Fox 64 - fast Star Fox 64 3D - slowly

And because the sound library of both games is identical as far as I know. There are many many parts of the soundtrack where I am reminded of Ocarina of Time simply because of the instruments.

Such an epic ending. I always remember this one.

This piece of art was WAAAAY better than it needed to be.

Playing it as our concert ending song, damn.

The portion where Great Fox ascends on the horizon is so epic

Video Game Insiders like to cross examine how this game was definitely made into a classic. 1, The Land Before Time 2, Star Wars 3, Indiana Jones 4, Back to the Future 5, Ice Age 6, The Mummy 7, Lawrence of Arabia 8, Aladdin 9, Home Alone 10, Planet of the Apes 11, Atlantis 12, Bingo 13, Dumb and Dumber 14, Toy Story 15, A Goofy Movie 16, The Hunchback of Notre Dame 17, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle

I just wish there was a version of this game we could play all 15 levels in one go, well maybe not Aquas that level was a pain.

Star Fox movie better have this exact thing happening here. I will cry, stand, and applaud at the end if it does.

same thing can be said about any game's music, but it doesn't add up! you be stupid enough to steal some game's medody ending with anothers. and yeah i have done that, but it doesn't always feel like the music it belongs with.
