Those geese left the pond like synchronised aircraft squadrons! Looks like a nice site! Can't believe you left your steps at home, you're always so organised! We carry one of those folding steps on the van, does in a pinch and also handy for reaching the top of the cabinets.

Hi Lily & Bruce, This is one our favourite sites and areas to explore. It was marvelous watching the geese. Gail was grateful she didn’t get pooped on 😂 . We left our original step behind at Meathop Fell club site after leaving in the dark. I couldn’t believe I left it at home this trip. I did mention changing the step but Gail’s happy with this one. English whisky company did a beautiful Sloe whisky, single malt ,more of a liqueur. Very smooth and no burning. Got through 5 bottles. Haven't made it since.

Hi ya Rob and Gail. Brilliant vlog as usual. Start was a bit iffy. Car that didn't want to follow a caravan, and no steps, trouble with us short legged people we need our steps.🦵🦵 Jokes aside what a wonderful area. Bridgnorth looks amazing. Walk through the Country Park with its history was superb. Wow the Geese were tremendous. Thanks again guys for a wonderful vlog. We’ve just had a look at Small Batch and it’s in a great location with its hillside views. Unfortunately for us it doesn’t look like they have fully serviced pitches. Thanks for the compliment John. It's a lovely area, we stayed at a CL just outside Much Wenlock in September, it's only an hour away for us, we will have to try that site next year.

Another cracking video, probably one of your best! Just sold two steps t’other day, shame! Before we packed in with the caravan, Bridgnorth was on our list, going to seek out a cottage instead, them caves might have been ok when they were first dug, but maybe a bit draughty now! Susan remarked again on the excellent camera work! Take care!

Great vlog as ever Rob & Gail. Everything spot on- except the step business but as a bloke you can’t be expected to remember everything. That illegal overtake came as a bit of a shocker tho Last time we went to Bridgnorth we stayed at Eye Kettleby so we were between Ludlow and Bridgnorth- handy for both, but we’ve had our eye on Morris Leisure sites for a while Thanks as ever for all the time and effort you put into producing these vlogs - it doesn’t go unnoticed and we enjoy them Immensely and look forward to them all Best wishes Howard 👍🏻

You should try a Morris Leisure site, Llamberis is the only one we haven’t been to. You’re right about the step my favourite saying is ‘I can’t remember everything’ 🤣 much to Gail’s annoyance. Hi Glyn, pleased you enjoyed our video again and Gail is sat here proud as a peacock after reading your compliment ! 😀 oh gosh yes the step ! hopefully won’t do that again. it was quite a drop. We loved our stay at Stanmore Hall and didn’t want to come home. Gail feeds everything and we usually carry an assortment of animal food products in the locker. The peacocks are the same two from our last visit 7 years ago and are showing their age now. Just googled Trentham bridge, you learn something everyday, we didn’t know of it. That's the only Morris leisure site we have not been to - looks a nice site similar to Oxen hall, their not the cheapest sites even with C&MC discount, I remember once when we had MH I left the toilet cassette in garage at home after giving it a clean, luckily it was only a 2 night stopover, just do a midnight trip to the facilities block - certainly make sure I put it back in caravan now after cleaning, Bridgenorth is on our list of places to visit 👍

Looks like a nice place to visit with plenty to do in the area. We have booked this site next June with friends and have asked for pitch 121 next to the lake. We like Morris Leisure sites as they are very similar in quality to CAMC sites and have stayed at their sites at, Llanberis, Ludlow and Oxen Hall near Shrewsbury. Stanmore Hall site looks very similar to Oxen Hall with the lake and plenty of wildlife, we had a lovely, warm and sunny week there this June. Happy caravanning Rob.

Hi Stephen, Great area to visit, we love this part of the country and feel sure you won’t be disappointed at Stanmore Hall, especially on your lake view end pitch. We have also stayed at Morris Leisure’s Ludlow and Oxon Hall and found plenty to do from both these sites. Three very good Shropshire sites but we put Stanmore at the top of our list. Hello Andrew, We’ve been to Morris Leisure Riverside site in Betws-Y-Coed and spent hours walking through the woods opposite. Have yet to stay at Llanberis but it’s on our list. Hi Rob and Gail..we also enjoy your vlogs and are subscribers already. We live in the north east but my husband, Mark, has always wanted to revisit Ironbridge, as last time he was in that area, with work, the bridge as covered over for refurbishment 🤣. Your vlog caught our attention and loved what else was on offer in the area. We think we might visit Stanmore Hall in either September or October (avoiding school hols!). Like yourselves, we’ve started to book serviced pitches. Just wondered if you’d booked the site over the ‘phone or online? I’ve tried entering some dates but nothing comes up at all. Hope you’ve got more trips planned. We’re off to River Breamish in April, then back to Lickpenny in June. Welcome to you Helen and Mark and thank you for being subscribers. We are pleased to hear you enjoy our vlogs and it’s good to know the channel has been helpful to you. We booked Stanmore Hall via the phone as we wanted the same pitch we were on in August 2015 (yes we went in the school holidays and the site and surrounding area wasn’t over crowded). Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding and we didn’t get pitch 130 in the adults only section. The pitches facing the lake are a nice option out of school holidays. River Beamish is one we’d like to stay at too as they have serviced pitches 🙂 and Lickpenny of course is fab 👍 . We also love caravanning life and are off to Harbury Fields Caravan Park shortly. Hi Rob and Gail. We had 5 nights at Stanmore Hall and really enjoyed our stay there. We had a great super service pitch overlooking the lake, it was idyllic, and as you warned we had our early morning call from ronnie and reggie, they don't forget who feeds them do they. Haha!! . we will def go back sometime. another site we enjoyed in Shropshire is Cartref near Shrewsbury, one i think would be good to vlog. Keep up the good work. Bridgnorth is a great historic town Andy and well worth visiting. We’ve yet to visit Blists Hill, just too much choice in the area. The tar tunnel at Ironbridge is worth a visit. We visited there last time but it was closed for the season. Going to explore your Derbyshire bike rides soon. Take care, Rob
