Impromptu trip to Stanislaus National Forest and found a hidden gem outside of Long Barn, CA. Hull Creek campground is 10 miles from town on paved roads with some nicely maintained areas and bathrooms. Another 7 miles up the road is the Clavey River where there are some great fly fishing opportunities. We consistently saw some Brown and Rainbow trout throughout the river. Smaller flies would be optimal for these little fish. Highly recommend this little spot.
