They're forced to stand for hours and hours a day getting their paws flipped around, they're faces grabbed, and their ears practically ripped off. They just get use to it. Some dogs love pampering. Mine personally does. (Not the one in my profile pic.) But when you go over board it ruins the point of it.
Excellent video with a master of his art but it would have been more pleasant to see him speak to & make a fuss of the very patient Poodle who was so very well behaved.I know that concentration is required but a little word to the model every now & then would be nice.
I wish I could get my Standard poodle to sit still like that during trims. Are there any tips to calm them down? Mine is 11 months old now.
