What is the calculation of in-situ bulk density from N value

Bulk density can be determined by weighing the sample in sampler ; measure its depth/length inside the sampler . In cohesive soil , it is more reliable .sometimes samples may get slightly compacted ; but in sandy soil can be otherwise.
