both Stan and Andy are great .. grand slam winners and in an era dominated by the 3 ... they definitely made it hard for the 3 and had amazing battles ... if you look at number of quarters , semis and finals they have played its amazing... yes lifting trophy is important but being so consistent in the big tournaments is a extra ordinary feat.. both totally deserved to win more...tough luck with medical injuries... it is super hard to come back after that and what Andy pulled of is nothing short of miracle

Will miss this guy when he retires. Stan the Man. Respect!

Me too. He's one of my favorites if not the favorite. He's really good to watch.

I cried when Stan and Andy embraced each other at the end of the handshake... it was a bittersweet moment because I think we all knew, including themselves, that this was very likely the last time these two titanic legends will share the court together as well as either of them playing in centre court of a grand slam again and so I think they wanted to soak it all in and share that moment together as well as reflecting on each other's great achievements as tennis legends and respecting each other for it and their rivalry. It's such a beautiful moment. And it's so sad too... we're likely soon to witness the retirement of Andy and Stan, and then Rafa as well... and Djokovic has been declining also. It truly is the end of the big 4 / big 5 dominant era. What an era it was.

Wawrinka - Murray was a nice first round match. Sort of an old timers game. These two guys were forgotten stars with the big three around, but both of them won three majors which was quite an accomplishment considering that those other three were around.
