@@unklemike5012 STALCRAFT is only available on PC so there is no controller support. Controls in the game are too complex to adapt them for a controller and there is no aim assist. Currently there are no plans to release STALCRAFT on gaming consoles or to rework control scheme to support controllers as this would require too much development resources that are currently focused on other things.

@@user-gc1hg9sp9k Like you have to spend 500 $ for one weapon its not worth and also thers match making that better players are on different servers to let newbies play so pay2win doesnt exist, but on russian version they got cases that are totally pay to win so we will have to see how game evolves, on eu server they made premium packages with weapons and armors but lovely EU community did their job and packages got removed

Hopefully this gets some more recognition now. This game has no right to be as good as it is. I've been playing it for weeks now. Insanely underrated.

One of the best parts about Stalcraft is the progression system is tied to PVP with the world map events. If you're a Loner, you need items you loot from bandit NPCs to get some gear; so you're forced to go to the enemy faction side to grind; and vice-versa for the bandits. Loners will see "Bandit camp" events and Bandits will see "Loner camp" events with NPCS, while those NPCS will be friendly to the same faction. The camp of friendly NPCs you were in at 13:20 are actually a world event for the Loner faction. The most interesting mechanic I've ever seen in an MMO is the backpack system for progression items. When you die, you drop a "lost backpack" that has all of your progression barter items inside it and only YOU (the owner) can open it. If another player loots your backpack, they can list it on the auction house (which is cross faction) for a ransom and it will notify you so you can buy it back from them and open it. This way if you die to PVP that player gets rewarded by ransoming your progression items and you don't lose progress for dying in enemy faction territory. You can go grind the items you need, die, and then buy those items from the person who killed you and still progress up the tech tree. This also means people can't progress by "apex farming" and just killing players for barter items to progress up the tech tree. It's probably the most fair PVP MMO system I've ever seen.

I Go in an Area, son Dicks stand there, the move in my old area, tehn come beack in the new and woooh Spawn protection so they Aim at you with this OP Val shit or oter Snipers. When they Hit your 90% instant death als newbie. When not. They go back, come again, new Spanw protection and so on.

In theory it's a good system. Realistically, people (bandits) camp enemy quest spots, throw your backpack in bushes so nobody finds it or god only knows how many players your backpack passes through with all the PvP around Bar. PvP really has no sense in this game, no reward, just wasting people's time. Not to mention sweaty squad players only, bad server lag and cheaters. At least in Tarkov you get rewarded in PvP

Unless i feel bad killing someone who had a lot of barter materials, i sell to fence. If your killing people non-stop it isnt profitable to sell their lost pack with two seeds on the fence

If you speak spanish and just watch the chat feed on Drewski's, you'll lose your shit of how funny the convo seems to be going.

So glad he tried this out, the amount of folks that were yelling at me for requesting it way back when was hilarious. lol

Its a weird game but I am really enjoying it the combat is fun I like how you dont lose your actual guns and armor but your loot instead. The progression although really grindy mid-late game its still an enjoyable ish grind I really dont mind it.

the game is good but the major problem is they need to nerf the bosses like mistral, it's pretty much almost impossible to kill. The only way to kill those boss are by glitching and messing the boss path so it cannot move.

I really hope this game gets more love. thank you for showing it off. Can't wait to escort more newbies into the dump. Also when you kill an enemy, you can grab their lost backpack. this contains all the crafting materials they had and just lost. you can mail it back to them or even ransom it back to them on the auction house

You can actually skip around in the tech tree at certain points. If you select a piece of gear, click "go to trade" and look at the top of the window you may see multiple trade offers. Sometimes one of those offers is for a higher amount of crafting mats and rubles in order to outright purchase the weapon/suit/whatever.

Your progression is also slightly gated by the main quest, but you can progress beyond the main quest and/or progress the main quest beyond the areas you should be farming.

Played a couple hours and I love the progression so far, and watching groups of people naturally quest together or fight each other is awesome. As a solo player finding groups of Loners doing missions or ambushing a duo of Bandits I heard shooting at an event area, or clearing out an event area only to get sniped by a Mosin Bandit. It's awesome.

Before tarkov wiped I’ve been playing this every day since it came out, it’s really really fun and I enjoy the grind ngl

I hope it gets delayed as much as it needs to be. Stalker:SoC was rushed and lost a lot of its most ambitious features as a result. I'd rather they take the time they need and deliver us something truly exceptional, than rush it and give us Stalker:Cyberpunk 2077.

The spectre M4 is an old(ish) Italian SMG, there is a Forgotten Weapons video on it, I'm sure an airsoft version exists but it's been a very real firearm since 1980 and has seen use across many conflicts.

You cant get smooth voxels with just a texture pack. The smooth voxels make it more akin to 7d2d than mc.

Been loving it! framerate is super smooth, map is very large with og stalker locations, farming isn't too bad so far (I'm only at mid-tier gear with Main Quest Exoskeleton, Worn VAL and worn SVD) PvP has a pretty fast TTK and if you died to someone out in the zone and you weren't being a douche... a simple DM could get that dude to just mail back the mats that you dropped. I like the fact that you don't drop weapons or armor so you can just sit back and be fearless in PvP since the ammo and meds aren't expensive.

I think from my humble experience playing as a stalker idk about the bandits faction but when buying a weapon or armor u have multiple offers u can basically save up for the weapon or use the previously bought weapon to get it for cheaper so u don't really "have to" get all of them it all just depends on what you have and what's the best offer. please correct me if i'm wrong about anything but this is just a simple note and i'm glad you are playing this game as it was my introduction into the world of stalker

Radar was a scrapped location that became the Red forest in the original game while in Stalker Lost alpha it was a location where the brain schorcher is located

Been playing this for a few days now and it really does deserve to take off! It has no reason being free, its honestly great! Community is actually really chill and whenever ive needed ammo or meds, other Stalkers have been more than happy to help out! Theres is really good instanced based missions too, so if you die, you can just respawn in the mission, collect your gear and try continue, which is a really nice little touch imo!

bro, this game like 8 years old, i started play it about 3-4 years ago, its been pretty unpopular at start, but now, i can see how one of my most favorite game is growing up.

Finished the main quest yesterday. I realy liked the game. It has a lot of grind, but with Stalker (blue) level of equipment you can beat anyone if you have more skill.

It's a little tiny block game, and yet if you only fire one shell out of your double barrel shotgun you only remove one shell when you reload it... Why is it so good? Who put the passion into this to have that nice little detail?

Drewski, you should check out "Will To Live", It seems to be another Stalkerish mmo that is free to play aswell, I would love to see you do an overview on it because I love your way of doing stuff

Just recently picked this up as well. Not as punishing as the mainline STALKER games but, challenging enough for you to take it a little bit seriously. Have been dying mostly on anomalies which certainly checks out for me.

If you play it on your own, its a bit closer to a traditional stalker experience... but it's definitely an fps mmo first and a stalker game second.

Honestly I'd love this game more if Anomalies weren't literally everywhere. A lot of time there's like, vortexes on the edges of a hill and it becomes impossible to escape it. That shit is more tilting than anything else. Lol.

tip to avoid more of those - turn music volume below 10% and effects volume over 70% or to your liking. you'll hear the anomalies before you ever see them and can avoid them easier.

THE EVENTS PING WHEN SOMEONE'S THERE? This would've been great to know starting out, super helpful for navigating enemy territory.

When it all just started stalcraft was part of the few servers of heavy moded minecraft. Other were called falloutcraft, spacecraft. But stalcraft was the most populated one, so they deleted other and focused only on it. This is why it's called stalcraft.
