I do not, I know that they are releasing an update January of 2023 that revamps the parkour system and some other things, but I haven't seen a timeline of content release anywhere.

Man i cheesed him the second way you showed and i just mag dumped the RPD on to that guy. It was so satisfying.

My take on the minstrel was doing an 8-like sprint through the 2 pillars because most of the time when he screams your screen only blackens and looks drunk instead of getting knocked backed and taking damage. Look behind shoot only two times of the Mossberg. While healing on the way. I think it is definitely impossible to defeat him on the first try because you'll run out of ammo along the way and healing items, you have to die in order to "supply yourself" below with your bags on the ground where you died previously. When I get tired of doing the 8-sprinting method. I go to the ledge and do your strategy, sometimes he just goes invisible and face and run along the walls. That's where I reloaded and healed too. Sometimes I get unlucky, I get double grabbed and even screamed at the end of those grabs, always insta-death.

Yeah there definitely isn't a consistent 100% method that I have found yet. It's kinda rng to be honest lol.

I played through the story again not long after the changes and didn't see much if anything different. Although I did get the colonel to kill himself so I didn't see the second half of the area when you chase him.

For the minstrel fight: the ledge trick is your best bet, the stalagmites and the prone-corner have been patch as far as i know.

@@MaximumAggroI know another trick but it might not be as good, get the RPD, suicide when you at minstrel a couple of times so you can pick up your medkits and dupe them, and just keep running when you need to reload, it every now and then mag dump that fucker while constantly being on meds, if you are lucky he will grab attack you and you will be immobilised but he will be too, meds can counteract the dmg and he won’t move making it easier to hit your shots, but your crosshairs needs to be on him because you can’t move it while you are grabbed Edit: also just remember that the RPD is full auto and has good stopping power, so firing it at him while he runs at you will slow him down

I have another video I'm going to upload were I killed him using the white double barrel Kalgans sawed off so if your using a shotty you shouldn't need a ton of medkits or anything anymore

@@MaximumAggro i did a stalker-side speedrun and used coxcomb's double barrel to deal with it.

PROTIP: SHIFT key is your fucking enemy whenever doing parkour and especially when climbing. Nearly any dirt/grass/ground incline or ledge is climbable, that is, can be scaled by holding Q to grab on to it. I repeat, running will get you killed pretty much most of the time. You should aim to be holding only Q and a direction key when climbing/scaling anything just like the pop-up tip says. SHIFT = YOUR ENEMY Have a good one guys, and let us pray for the Parkour Update soon, cause I agree the Kambertz we have to currently do is cancer.

Thx for the guide! You can rush the main quest with what free stuff you are given in the main story without trying to spoil too much since you are making a guide anyways( while the free RPD is tempting i highly suggest using anything with faster reload speed like the IL86 machine gun or any assault rifle, the M1A could be useful too). But if you are gonna farm for better armor best to do that as well, since it is useful up north. Your gonna need a minimum of 200 rad, 200 bio, 100 psy. Fire isnt important since that is more specific to a place than constant all around. My suggestion for armor is the last blue combo armor before the first purple combo armor. This the last one that can carry any type of backpack. But going science is also a good time investment.

Yeah I'm having to farm up a 200 psy resist suit right now just to be able to make the Sig Monolith video. It has spots you need to be able to survive psy 2 sadly.

@@MaximumAggro you can rush to that part, you can just tank it with psy-resistance (psy/bio/rad/thermal-protection nullifies damage but psy/bio/rad/thermal-resistance just lessen damage.) Just pray there isnt an event there. I think the malachite science suit will suffice.

I made a wrong chat dialog choice at almost the end so I'm having to go to an extra spot to find iceman. Which means I'll miss out on the weapon charm. So I can't live through the damage sadly. I'm making sure that I the video I show what the correct option is though so anyone following along can skip the 2 steps I am on.

For subfactions: they say one is PVP oriented while the other is PVE. Its not really the case, they say that because of the circumstance of the subfaction's base location. Covenant are underground and have an isolated place for themselves to farm. While mercs are above ground in the open where most of the quest are so player traffic is higher hence the PVP. In my experience: covenants would pop out of there holes and kill you and go back in with a less likely hood of being followed. Its also best not to rush to subfactions as this will make more enemies. But the new spawn location is pretty nice.

Yeah I'm in no hurry to do sub-factions since you need to be Rep rank 7 with the bar which im not near at the moment anyway. That makes sense about the sub factions being more based off where their bases are.

I can't believe I finished this with only an AKM! Whew! That parkour part was annoying as hell and the Minstrel was fight was even more annoying! This whole ledge trick was the most consistent one. The time I wanted to spam my death on the ledge so I can stack up heals was the time I managed to beat him lmao Basically running to the ledge and sitting on the farthest end will make him glitch out a lot more than normal, also try to run around the pillar when he pushes you back with the scream, the glowsticks will help out a lot to guide you around. Once the HP is less than 50%, switch to pistol and headshot him, it'll deal a lot more damage than an AR from my experience. Or don't be like me and be like MaximumAggro and bring a shotgun.

Going back to this, apparently there's another "secret" way where if you don't torture Lapshin, he'll appear at The Bar before your mission to kill Vlasov and you'll learn something about the truth and you'll tell it to Vlasov and he'll basically game end himself.

@@MaximumAggro It´s real, you have to spare Lapshin, then you´ll fin him down the bar, in the second floor of a small warehouse... he´ll give you an alternative quest to find some stash; the hard part is to find him in bar

26:58 u can actually use the black hole to help u do the jump , the black hole will pull u and u can kinda move in the air and jump onto the wood , i just speed ran that part lol.

You can trigger the fight and still be on the ledge where u fall off the arena, its hard to pull off but you can do it

Yesh, someone was telling me that, and I could never get that to work. Tried it for 45 minutes. I'm not even sure if I was doing it right, to be honest.

I killed him today with the coxcomb's shotgun, notice that, when you shoot his head he slows a bit

Anyone know what the Alternative rewards for this are? In terms of the M1A is that guaranteed with either Mercs or Covs? or is there a valid choice here?

I'm in the process of leveling my 2nd Bandit (will be my main most likely since I like the name more lol) and I will be making a short video showing all 4 variations. Both for the Bandits and both for the Stalkers. The only difference between them all is the camo on them, stat wise and attachment wise they are all 4 the same.

Yesh there are certain areas that they can shoot straight through cover lol

What worked for me when dealing with minstrel was,i hid behind the stalagmites and kept peeking out so he eventually got confused a kept turning around letting me shoot it

@@MaximumAggro I did it a couple of days ago, the Minstrel was still able to reach me behind the stalagmites,thats why i had to peak/wiggle in and out behind the stalagmites so the Ai got confused and started turning around,trying to find the path to me, and so every time i peaked out from behind the stalagmites,i take a shot at him ,sometimes u have to jump down,run around and hind behind there again.

Honestly with this game and the boss encounters it could be up to RNG, if the boss bugs out more for one person than the other etc. The same person can go through 2 times and have vastly different outcomes time wise.

Only real thing you are missing out on is 2 Cheap Tools, the rest is ammo, Hercules drinks epinephrine and repair parts.

The devs are waiting for more players to reach the endgame status to introduce endgame content into west servers. Game recently released so not many endgame players in the new servers currently.

I haven't seen a timeliness anywhere for content release. I know they have a big patch coming January 2023 to revamp the parkour system but other than that I have no clue.

There is a way to skip the fight with colonel vlasov After you kill the minstrel, the soldier that you captured earlier would appear in the bar ( if you don't torture him ). He would give a quest on hacking the Colonel's laptop and other computers and such. After this, you can convince the colonel to "have an early retirement" where you would go to the other door and teleport back into the bar. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lX570Mmen7utd9o.html The spoiler: Apparently the colonel hated the zone because he lost a grandson to it so he supplies the orderlies to kill the blessed ones, but turns out that his grandson was one of the blessed ones so when the colonel found out that he was helping the people who killed his kin, he committed the [uuuhhhh]

If you do any extra quest you can make him shoot himself instead of have to fight him. I do it in my Stalker video.

Minstrel isnt that hard if you have an idea of what you are doing. I beaten it with coxcombs bm by running around. It is possible to get distance from minstrel by sprinting.

True, having a plan ahead of time does nake it easier. I was never really able to outrun him. He always caught me and hit me in the back even if I was sprinting. But like most boss fights in this game there seems to be a ton of RNG involved lol

@@MaximumAggro I tried doing what you did months ago, buy decided I'd just back up while mag dumping 45 round mag and when I'd reload I'd run. As your mag dumping it kinda stun locks him and gives you a little space. Took 24 tries though I think. I forgot ro bring a shotgun and the jumping bs made me not want to redo it xD
