Planning staggered 265/245 but instead of cup2 I’m going for AR1 . But NANKANG AR1 has a wider tread width and I’m using 9.5 F 8.5 R. In that case 255/235 or 265/245 will be more optimal

Running 265/245 AR1 instead of Cup2 should be no issue. Tire sizing is a preference of how you want the car to handle, and if you have the appropriate amount of camber to support the tire sizing you want.
Still the case with 8y? I’m really debating going 265/35r18 square with a 20-25mm spacer on the front. Will be doing many of your parts as they become available.

We still prefer a squared setup on these cars. 265's are meaty!
can i put 265/35/19 all around on my car, i dont want my front tyres to be wider then rears
