You really gotta watch her original song "Pretty Little Things" performed at AGT Championships!!!! She's not only a Great Singer, (see her covers on here for Sign of the times, Someone you Loved, Sign of the times, Sucker and Old Town roads!) But also a True Stage Performer! At least I think so... whatcha think?

You need to watch her audition from the beginning-she was shy and bashful-that’s why the panel and audience was so surprised when she opened her mouth!🔥Watch it until the very end! (And yes that is her real voice) One of my favorite auditions ever!🙏🏼🔥❤️

Her performance was not so much confident as it was great example of a young girl shaking off her fears and colliding with her lack of confidence, which made her performance much more powerful.

Just understand that Courtney's extreme nervousness at the beginning (and end) of the extended video (see AGT) was very real. Word was that they had to send a couple of acts out ahead of her because her nerves were overwhelming and she needed time to calm down.

That's what I love about her. Shy, quiet and very timid,.... until there's a microphone in her hand, where she becomes this ROCK GODDESS!!! And, a couple of days ago she just turned 18. She has been performing like this since she was 11. She is an absolute gem, that I wish more people would recognise.

Hi Janet! So cool that you've come upon Courtney's music. Courtney is absolutely amazing. The best thing to happen to the music world in decades, if not forever. She is equally great in everything from Rock to R&B, Funk, Soul and Ballads and there never is any loss to the incredible quality of her music. She even had an opera clip go viral on TikTok. You can't fully tell from this audition, but she is a true stage beast, in the best sense of the word, and dominates a stage like no other when she's rocking out. She's a dynamite guitarist, plays piano and is a true powerhouse as a song writer. As you hear more of Courtney, you'll realize what a truly generational talent she is. Frankly, for me and many of us, she is the true voice of a lifetime. Courtney had been singing for a number of years prior, but she burst to worldwide fame when she took America's Got Talent (AGT) by storm with this performance in 2018. This audition video went viral and currently has over 500M views. Courtney herself has over 2 Billion on line views. She has a devoted following of millions from virtually everywhere on the globe. On AGT, Courtney focused on singing classic rock from the 60's and 70's by the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. She literally blew the roof off of the arena with every performance. After AGT, so many who were first introduced to her there, viewed her as strictly this fabulous stage dominating rocker, which she most certainly is. However, she is so, so much more. Few realized how versatile she really was. So she then released a four song EP, where she took massive recent hits across multiple genres, totally re-invented them and created something amazing out of each of them. As an example, one of the songs on the EP was 'Lil Nas' huge record setting hit 'Old Town Road', which Courtney turned from it's original Country/Hip Hop version into a magnificent rock anthem. The purpose was to highlight both her incredible vocal range, but also her unmatched creativity. For all four of the songs on the EP, I've never come across anyone who has heard both the originals and Courtney's version, that didn't feel that Courtney blew the originals totally out of the water. The only reason Courtney isn't already a mega-star is mostly due to bad luck regarding timing. She was slated to appear as the youngest artist at the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. However, that ended up being cancelled for financial and logistical reasons. Courtney was so great on AGT, that she was signed to Syco/Arista records (Sony Music) shortly after the competition. She was getting ready to release her debut album of original music when Covid hit, and the drop has been repeatedly delayed for over two years as a result, but a drop is now expected shortly. There is so much pent up anticipation for Courtney's music that it will simply explode. I've put a few links below as suggestions for your next Courtney reaction. First is her performance on AGT Champions that will give you an idea of how Courtney can dominate a full stage. The second is the totally re-invented 'Old Town Road', which I mentioned above, to show you her creativity and finally is a ballad that will highlight what a truly beautiful voice Courtney has. One suggestion. Whenever listening to a Courtney cover, always listen to the original first. Courtney's creativity is off the charts and any cover she does will never sound anything like the original. It's going to be a hell of a ride, so enjoy. Courtney's vocal coach, Julie Miles, who is pretty well known in the UK from Vocal Ovation and has been part of a few TV talent shows in the UK as judge and also helps find talents, has mentioned they would practice her performances 100's of time at her studio and then Courtney would go home to practice probably 100's of times more. for each performance. As you said she's like a pro and being she's been signed since she was 14, I guess you have to say she is a pro. If it weren't for COVID she'd already be a sought after artist. Some have commented about the way she uses her voice will harm it, but there's much information nowadays about that not being the case if properly trained to sing in that manner. Her coach assures that she is well versed and knows how to take care of her voice even when not singing. Part of Courtney's styles and stage presence is a combination of all the old school legends she idolized and learned from at an early age around 11, maybe earlier. Artists like Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Little Richard, Etta James, Aretha Franklin and many more have influenced her. She has improved so much in how she uses her vocals to manipulate the sounds she wants. It's amazing how someone so young can create the things she does. When she finally gets released to the public, I'm pretty sure we are going to see the next huge star. There will be many who won't like her style, but there will many more who will love her or will recognize her all around talent and diversity regardless if they like the songs she chooses to sing or not. I'm an old school classic rock guy myself, but when she sings songs like "Sign of the Times" by Harry Styles kzread.info/dash/bejne/qm2EystvidXNYs4.html or "Someone you Loved" by Lewis Capaldi, kzread.info/dash/bejne/l4Ztt9qco827g7A.html I'm in awe how she takes those 2 ballads and reinvents them into her own style. She's so adaptable. It's pretty amazing.

Jenna I absolutely love it when these young ladies are so good that they almost make you break down. I watched you react to what I think are 3 generational talents. You need to take in Courtney doing "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" on AGT to witness her chew up the stage. Then take in The Voice Kids UK where she is doing "Nutbush City Limits". I thought Angelina when she was doing "Go Easy on Me" broke you. It was really close. If you want to see that talent at an early age check her out at 9 yrs. old doing "I Put a Spell On You" You will be mesmerized. Finally take a look at Morissette on Sounds Stages doing "Defying Gravity" and "She Use To Be Mine". She sucks you into that world and never lets you go. She should have been in the movie version of "Wicked instead of Ariana Grande. Be Well

Well. . .looks like you like Courtney. LOL. Please keep in mind that this was when Courtney was 13 years old. Very recently she turned 18. Trust me, and all of her fans here, she has only gotten so much better as she has matured. For proof, take a look at Courtney's Vevo channel. She has 4 covers there from 2 years ago which are all killers. Her confidence has only grown and grown and grown. And her voice has matured and developed so many facets that it's hard to know how she will sing on each song. You might also be interested in seeing her perform when she was younger; say 10, 11, or 12. You'll see that her confidence was there from the start notwithstanding that many in her native England had no idea what to make of her. She was a finalist on The Voice Kids UK where her stage presence so far exceeded that of the others on the show that it was almost sad that the other kids had to compete with her - and she was 12 at the time. For those of us who look all over KZread for first time reactors to Courtney we know how it goes - and it is exactly what you did. Anticipation as her head was bowed as the music begins, the curiosity about her foot movements, and then the utter shock of her voice. All of which is followed by "What!", "Wait wait wait!", "I wasn't ready for this!" or "Oh my God!" which you said almost at the exact same time as Heidi Klum said it. And finally, there is the huge smile that comes over the face when it's realize Courtney is something really special. I have no doubt at all that she will continue to be special for decades to come.

I love your reaction! You beat Mel B to the "OMG!" It's a blast watching the shock on people's faces! A bunch of us show up for it every time (Hi Edward👋 Hi Rick👋 Hi Bert👋). Believe it or not, if you watch her next AGT performance "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" kzread.info/dash/bejne/lWuot5OcaNnWhps.html and her finals performance "River Deep Mountain High" kzread.info/dash/bejne/a6CftteLp7ewico.html it just keeps getting better!

Courtney Hadwin has finally gotten out of her contract and is now an independent artist. In 2 months she's already release her 1st original with more to follow she said each month. kzread.info/dash/bejne/doOe27Vup5S1ntI.html The video is exceptional, just as are her vocals as usual. This song will show her vocals in a completely different style that will most definitely impress anyone who knows music and likes music. The girl can do anything she puts her mind to. She'll be a star one day.

That was a surprise for MANY people. The Black Crowes 'Hard to Handle' has been covered many times. I don't think ever by Janis Joplin. Well, until now.

If you want to see an amazing stage presence, please react to Taisiya Skomorokhova performing ‘simply the best’ on The Voice kids - Ukraine (or Russia, I could be wrong. Forgive my ignorance!) I’m not an expert at all when it comes to music or theatrics, but her stage presence blew my mind! I’d love to know what you think! She hasn’t got anywhere near as many views as she deserves

Hi Janet last time you watched Angelina Jordan I loved how she moved and impressed you. You have been away for away and she has a new cover suspicious minds. I am humbly requesting that you cover this song. I promise you you will feel prouder of her more now than ever.

i dont mean to insult your profession but what this girl has cant be taught, this comes from within and needs to come out. people like Mick Jagger, Robert Plant. Joplin, Steven Tyler, James Brown,Little Richard and the list goes on. They were never coached on how to act on stage, they just did it. And its what is missing from music today. where are the rockstars. to many people trying to act on stage like a rockstar.
