Stage 4 Revo Fiesta ST TTV Clutch install and super billet flywheel

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

So with big power on these little pocket rockets you need bigger, stronger and better parts than OEM and as good as the OEM clutch is it's been proven alot recently by other that the stock AP Racing clutch is not strong enough unfortunately. Thankfully TTV Racing make an amazing clutch and flywheel package for this car and they can make it how you want for the power you run and for what you use the clutch for.
We need ours for fast road and loads of trackdays etc.
See what we think of the package and watch on to see basic tips and how to's and of course hit us up with loads of questions in the comments section.
We will be testing out the cars 0-60 with this big power kit now that we have 330-350bhp, this awesome bit of kit from TTV Racing is class, we now have a mega 230mm 5 paddle clutch kit with a billet aluminium flywheel -

    ? What’s that? The rest is kinda obvious from this step if you’ve done clutches before or is there something specific you found you had an issue with? I’m lost?

    Good stuff, guessing it should feel somewhat faster now without the clutch slipping!? My FiST has done only 14000 miles as i approach 3 years and I'm def going big turbo guess I should pencil in a new clutch as part of the cost. Are you thinking about getting a LSD?

    DOG BOY yes 100% from what I’m hearing of other people that are trying to stay with the stock clutch it ends up not lasting long at all so yes. I wanna see how everything feels in a few months and see if all’s going well then. LSD wise I’m not sure, I’m going to go with more hardcore track rubber and lightweight alloys first then re asses very soon then for sure that’s a possible future mod.

    Holly fk..... 11 months no oil change..... 😱 Since brand new I have done an oil and filter change every 5000km and just hit 21,000km today.. I have to do a gearbox oil change at least every 12 months as the gears get really tight and hard to change gears.. Due for a new clutch in the next 10 to 20 thousand kilometers...

    Shine Automotive didn’t take too long as loads tend to be friends, it’s the next 300-400 extra that will or can take a while. Some people take 10 years to get to 1000, it’s taken me just over 2 to get the size I am but I’ve always worked for about 30-50hrs a week on the channel across networks. Very very hard to grow on KZread unless you have a very clever idea and contend. No magic wand and man it’s hard trust me.

    I purchased the TTV flywheel, which I had to order overseas from the UK to replace my failing DMF. The stock flywheel on the fiesta st is horrible in terms of durability. I was going to run another stock clutch along with the TTV solid flywheel, but the stock clutch disc doesn't has a solid hub. The problem is without the dampening of the DMF, a solid hub clutch will let all the sharp torque spikes through, which is very bad for the transmission internals. I'm trying to find a good clutch kit with a sprung hub, but the only option here in the US is SPEC, which I don't like. What clutch did you end up installing in your fiesta?

    Funny. The US Spec Fiesta’s ECU cover is a piece of plastic. Stock US clutch isn’t an AP clutch either and many people run it no problem over 350 HP. Your clutch looks smoked. Wasn’t the clutch that was the problem. So much for a howto when you skip filming most of the transmission work, but manage to record your oil change.

  • @PeakPerformanceReviews

    @PeakPerformanceReviews

    4 жыл бұрын

    Matthew Peterson are you sure it’s not manufactured by AP Racing? If not any ideas what or who does? The stock clutch will take 350bhp if you use it for road but if you do about 20 Trackdays a year and go to the Nurburgring and Spa for Trackdays it’s not going to how you. It’s a great clutch but it has its limits. For what we are using the car for it just isn’t good enough. What is you honest usage with it? And also what do you think the problem was then? I’m intrigued? Yeah to be fair it wasn’t a how to, if I did lead you to believe this I’m sorry but thanks for watching none the less. What has your fiesta got on it? How much over 350bhp is it sounds interesting for sure 👌👍
