I was there for 4 years. I had the time of my life and not just because the British squaddies just tore the place up (well a little bit) but. It was so clean. Every one was friendly. The buildings were beautiful. So many pretty houses that i could never own and the cycling routes were amazing. I’d go back in a heartbeat if I could. I loved every minute of it

Herford.............. hier habe ich am Gänsemarkt 1977 bei Cafe` Jach meine Lehre zum Konditor erfolgreich beendet. Gunther Jach , war für mich ein Ehrenmann , der sich um seine Azubis gekümmert hat ! Das kann man nicht von jedem behaupten.

I can't remember any of this; Herford was my home once a beautiful town with wonderful people I don't think I shall walk there again but people live there happily so that is enough for me.
