Great video. One thing though - SPR is only a ratio to be worked out and used pre flop, dont calculate it after this. You can work out the SPR pre flop and the likely geometry for getting stacks in if it is 5 or under for eg. Given spr is there to tell us how committed we are to a pot there is no need to re calculate as you go through the streets

Also in late stages of tournaments its going to be really rare to have 100-150 bbs no? Would you still recommend the same hand ranges at 50bb in the video?

In late stages or tournaments even if you do have 100-150 BBs your opponents are likely to have 50BB and less so you play on their effective stack.

Are these BB amounts referring to effective stacks?

In the polar Vs linear 3bet video, with 50bb stack effective you say that it's best to use a polar 3bet range where you 3bet suited hands cause offsuit hands would make too many bluffs and suited hands are stronger in case we are called. Now here with 50bb stack you 3 bet the offsuit Broadway's. Kind of contradictory.

Nope. The spr is extremely important on turns and rivers as well.

Jonathan Little - Poker Coaching i havent seen much poker videos out there that count spr into turn and river..? Apart from that im a huge fan of the videos and i think you and Matt are doing an incredible job!

The logic doesn't make sense that you can 3 bet with suited connecters at 150 BB but not with 50 BB . Because it's easier to stack off with 50. What difference does it make if you get stacked at 150 BB or 50 BB ? Either way your tournament life has ended.

50bbs deep, if you get shoved on, you have to fold. Also, if you flop a reasonable hand and bet 50bbs deep, you have to fold to a raise.
