The First series of Gurkha variant was fitted with a 2.6-litre, intercooled Mercedes-Benz OM616 diesel engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 2596cc.
The second series of Gurkha variant was fitted with a 2.6-litre, intercooled diesel engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 2596cc. It was compliant with Bharat Stage III (BS3) emission standard and incorporated with a turbocharger. It enables the engine to churn out a maximum power of 80.4bhp at 3200rpm in combination with a peak torque output of 230Nm between 1800 to 2000rpm. It is integrated with four cylinders and sixteen valves using double overhead camshaft based valve configuration. This power plant is integrated with a direct injection fuel supply system that helps in delivering 15 Kmpl approximately on the highways and about 10.5 Kmpl in the city traffic conditions. This diesel motor is skillfully coupled with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which helps it in attaining a top speed in the range of 130 to 140 Km/h. At the same time, it can cross the speed barrier of 100 Kmph in close to 17 seconds from a standstill.The All New Force Gurkha with conveniently located 4x4 High and 4x4 Low levers in the central console makes it an unrivalled off-roading vehicle. It is the only vehicle in its class with mechanically actuated differential locks on both axles.
The third series of Gurkha is available in three different variants Xplorer, Xpedition and the Xtreme. Comes with a new BS-IV compliant engine in addition to a host of changes. The off-roader can be ordered in both soft-top and hardtop versions, while you get sturdy bits like a steel bumper with foglamps as well as a factory fitted snorkel intake for better water wading capabilities.
Force has launched the new-gen Gurkha and in October 2021. It will priced from Rs 12.99 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). It is mostly going to get a 90PS 2.6-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The cabin of the Force Gurkha has been revamped with an all-black theme with rear captain seats and jump seats in the boot. It will further feature LED headlamps with DRLs, power windows, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system, tyre pressure monitoring, rear wiper, optional alloy wheels and rear parking sensors.
Ranthambore National Park is a national park in Rajasthan, India, with an area of 1,334 km2 (515 sq mi). It is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River. It is named after the historic Ranthambore Fort, which lies within the park.
Ranthambore National Park was established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955, initially covering an area of 282 km2 (109 sq mi). It was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973 and became a national park on 1 November 1980. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary. In 1992, the Tiger Reserve was expanded to include the adjoining Keladevi Sanctuary in the north and Sawai Mansingh Sanctuary to the south along with other forests.
Ranthambore National Park harbours dry deciduous forests and open grassy meadow. The flora of the park includes 539 species of flowering plants.
Ranthambore Fort was built in the 10th century at 210 m (700 ft) above the surrounding plain. Inside the fort are three red Karauli stone temples devoted to Ganesh, Shiva and Ramlalaji. There is a Digamber Jain temple of Lord Sumatinath and Lord Sambhavanath. The temples were constructed in the 12th and 13th centuries.
Padam Talao is the largest of the many lakes in the park. A red sandstone Jogi Mahal is at the edge of the lake. A gigantic Banyan tree, considered to be India's second largest, is also near the lake.

The national park covers a total area of 392 km2, including buffer zone. The core area is about 275 km2. The tiger reserve area was about 334 km2. Today, it covers an area of 1334 km2. The elevation is about 215 to 505 meters above mean sea level. The land features dense tropical dry forest, open bushland and rocky terrain interspersed with lakes and streams. Ecoregion includes Khathiar-Gir dry deciduous forests.

I must say that you are absolutely in love with your vehicle. If Gurkha with its massive size can cruise at 110+ with no stability issues then this surely is a highly capable vehicle. I too am thinking about going for this vehicle. Again a beautiful plus knowledgeable video. I request you to please make a video on the DPF issue in Force Gurkha. Keep up the good work. 👍

This vehicle has a unique combination of low and mid range torque. The specs don't look impressive on paper. But the real world performance is really good. In real world scenario, especially in the mountains, the torque spread is more important than big BHP figures. And it's power and crusing speed is definitley not as bad as many 'arm chair critics' report. As this vlog clearly shows the vehicle is accelerating smoothly and gaining momentum at a respectable pace. And even when the vehicle hits a rough patch on the road, it is well under control. Even during lane changes, the vehicle was stable. And as it is very evident the driver driving it really well and not performing any erratic manoeuvres. 😊

Ji hamare pas bhi Gurkha hai ...10th Jun ko 1 year complete hua hai aur ham 19500 km cha chuke hai...ham regular isko 110 km ki speed se drive karte hai aur vo bhi bahoot easily.. highway aur city dono ke liye bahoot hi badhiya hai ye SUV aur iska turning radius bhi bahoot kam hai 5.4...hamare pas skoda rapid bhi hai par ham abhi jaha bhi jate hai Gurkha hi le jate hai ...kahi bhi koi bhi dikkat nahi hue hai ...hamare hisab se one of the best Indian SUV hai Gurkha...in every month ham ek din me 1000 kmts ka Safar karte hai without any physically aur mentally trouble..this is an excellent..very capable.. historical Indian SUV...I am proud to be an owner of this unique vehicle.

Hi! I like your channel & watched all your videos. I’ve got a new Gurkha but facing a problem of coolant leakage. In last trip my cam shaft got broken. The company got my whole head assembly changed but the leakage problem still persists. Do you have faced similar problem or know someone who has faced such a problem. Thanks

Namaskar sir.sir mere paas bhi force gurkha hai 2014 model and 80000 km chal chuki hai....and 140 km tak aaram se chali zati hai and zo log kahte hai.....unhone gurkha ko ek lambe time tak hold nahi Kiya hai....lambe time tak hold kare and uske baad diff.nazar aaygaa

I didn’t drove gurkha yet, i own trax cruiser, 2.0 FM cr 3 cly. Bs4. It cruises like leaf on water at 110-120, but if you take till 90 kmph in 4 th gear and then engage 5 , I touched 140, without efforts, i was racing fortuner and scorpio, scorpio did calm down and slowed because he felt it was too much unsafe for me😅, later he discussed, and fortuner won, but he was so amused, as he stretched thill 160-170 to overtaken me, and actually advised not to drive so fast in this vehicle, but i felt😈 mamully for cruiser😂😂😂😂😂
