@@emmyali920 what? She has always been the musical director of her shows and performances. Annie Clark is St. Vincent she is the only one who does all the decisions behind her music, shows etc..

Paul McCartney is one who deserves to be prideful yet every interview I’ve ever seen from is just the opposite. He tends to play it down. So humble.

Talented women are often overlooked because men don't let them in the game and also because women do not posess that giant need for recognition. Also female energy tends to be more about inclusiveness and social issues. The masculine energy is about conquest and exploitation, thats why they have an advantage towards women when it comes to recognition + obvious success.

A bit doctrinaire (& dated) as St. V is not exclusively "female energy"; she's aggressive in how she shreds guitar & one can't imagine her giving in to anyone on the Digital Witness tour. (She managed her uncle's act.) If anything she's been *playing* the 'femme' torch singer, with the solo rendition of the prior album with just the piano accompaniment. But then I'm biased ~ against Jack A. who overproduced her. Her previous producer John Congleton let her talent emerge, with minimal intrusion. Seems she buddied up with Jack after the rigors of the tour but he became the crutch that kept her leaning on him. He's "successful" with a Taylor Swift, which the world is sufficient with one.

yeah, I have been saying this for ages. I can't believe that she is paying a lot of money to that "stylist" person (avigail collins). Annie should just wear whatever she herself chooses and it would be million times better. Annie please drop that "stylist" of yours. Here she made you wear suit that it at least two sizes too big.

@@Marshal_Rock Clark doesn't have bad taste but she has had the same stylist since 2014 (avigail collins) and she is the worst. I mean way to ruin Annie's Grammys and Oscars nights for example. This wig is brilliant and for this brilliant album and it's all Annie's vision.

That stylist has nothing to do with the albums I meant these late night performances and award shows etc. I really don't get what exactly these stylists do? Pick ugly clothes for artists' big nights?
