Any law requiring members in a field to be "of good moral and ethical character" is an abridgement to freedom and unconstitutional. First, morality is personally subjective. Second, these sort of requirements often pertain to criminal convictions; preventing those found guilty of crimes from working in a range of professional fields, that are in no way related to the crime itself, which is unjust and illogical (such as preventing the operating of a radio show due to an old tax conviction ) preventing people from working in fields best suited to their innate abilities and character. Laws and policies such as this have no place in society that is allegedly free.
