15+ years since I last did Irish dancing and I still remember "shuffle one, shuffle two, shuffle three, shuffle four, shuffle, shuffle, hop back, hop back two three four"

This was the first heavy dance I ever learned. As a beginner, it's ridiculously hard when you don't know how to do proper taps or rocks 🤷 probably gets easier after you've been dancing for 2+ years though

Gorgeous, so clean 🙌

Absolutely perfect she got all the beats and the rock was stunning (and that’s coming from a Irish dancer )
@scoutz0rs
I like to see the tiny flourishes that differ from school to school. Mine kept the legs straight on all of the tip/brush hop step bit, and had one extra toe tap on the heel step (hop toe heel step) bit. I also see a lot of schools bend the leg on those heel steps.

The easiest dance of all!! I was dancing for 10 years & won that dance a consecutive 5 times in a row at comp! It’s my favourite hard shoe dance tho
